Pros: -Easy to assemble. -Feet rotate to adjust level for stability of bench. -Small footprint when folded. Cons: -The bench height is too tall. I'm 5'10" tall and my feet barely touch the floor when I lay across the bench. Makes for an uncomfortable position when bench pressing. -Space between the back cushion and the seat is too wide. If one of the halves of the bench give out, will I hurt myself of the metal joint? See attached image. -The padding is pretty thin and doesn't pull the covers taut. Initial reaction: it gives a cheap feeling quality and doesn't feel that supportive. ... show more

Hardware and design are very sturdy and solid so I live the ability to adjust to many positions as well as fold up and put away which is a BIG plus when you need a bench that is foldable. The bench was easy to put together and I started using it within minutes but the big issue started after a few workouts on the bench. The "cheap and I mean thin and "Cheap" vinyl that cover the seat and back of the bench just tore open and the foam is sticking out on the seat portion. This was not made for sweaty workouts so it is just a matter of time "(literally a few weeks) before the whole cushion vinyl tears up. I already have white sweat spots on it and it is not good. Use a towel on the bench to make it last longer but if you decide to keep it then you will start using duct tape to fix the ripping that will happen. ... show more

The rated weight is way off. It feels stable until it's not. Once you put 400lbs in the middle it will bend the metal and no longer be usable.

I was at first hesitant to purchase this bench because of the negative reviews but I must say going with my gut and buying this bench was a great investment. It takes up virtually no space when folded and is able to completely support 220+lbs easy along with added weight with dumbbells and barbells. If you are looking for an affordable but durable bench, I recommend this one for your home if you are limited on space ... show more
