I bought these in 02-24 and have used them 3 times a week through 11-24. I am very happy with the value and utility of these dumbells. No, they are not built like the well known names N or Bflex but they are no where near the cost either. I am 61 and have managed to really improve my upper body strength with easy to adjust weight settings and ultimate portability. The one issue is with the plastic tangs centered in the base of each bell (2nd photo. They plastic tang is wearing a bit so I use a small file or razor blade to keep the tang sharp. Works very well now. I am going to move up to a more robust weight set from these 25 pounders to a 55 pound set. ... show more

I never write reviews but because the customer service was nice and friendly I decided to review it. When I first got it was great for those starting to lift weights again and easy to adjust the weight. Although 3 months after I received it one of the dumbells was defective and a piece broke off that made it so the weight wouldn't stay on what I wanted. However, I contacted customer service and they responded within a day and replaced it fast. I will update it in a couple of months to see if any issues come up. ... show more

UPDATE After seeing my negative review the seller offered a full refund. I'm very impressed with their customer service. --- I just bought these in December to help me rehab after knee surgery and does not function. When I turn the knob to add weight it gets locked onto the plastic bottom. I can get 5 pounds or 10 pounds but after that it gets locked onto the base so I can't use 15, 20, or 25 pounds.
