This tent sets up like a breeze and is the perfect space for 1 person. Description says it will hold a queen mattress, but it's definitely only good for a twin. I got it to use as a potty/ changing room and it's perfect! it happened to rain hard the entire weekend and this tent stayed bone dry for the duration. It attaches to the ez up in a way that creates a water seal along the top, allowing under the canopy to stay dry too. The other reviews about the flimsy zipper are correct. I doubt it will survive the summer, but it will still come in super handy without a functional zipper if it comes down to it. ... show more

I bought this side tent based off of the product photos, dimensions & description stating that it would be able to fit a queen size air mattress - this is completely untrue! The photos shown to sell this product show it with much more room than there actually is. We were unable to put our queen size air mattress in there after getting it set up, this will be a tight space for even 2 sleeping bags on the ground. The only benefits to this side tent is that it was easy to assemble & set up/install. Exactly as pictured, will be an uncomfortably tight space for anyone over 6 ft tall but it holds a single camping cot perfectly. I've had no issues with leaks as long as I had proper tension on the ropes and stakes.

After two camping trips in this tent it’s been great! Both camping trips had rain and while the material of the tent is not very thick, it is fairly water resistant and even traps air inside quite well. I read before purchasing that the top was not the best for letting water run off so easy fix I made was just using a similar color tarp as top cover and simply put two ping pong balls on the support stakes so they do not puncture the tarp. Now it’s extremely water proof from the top. The footprint on the tent is a few inches high and is good at keeping water out as well. The window is great, having a zipper on either side makes it easy to control air flow. I can easily fit a wise owl hammock and stand inside and allows ample floor space for bags. The tie downs for tent could be better as mine would not hold tension very well so those got upgraded for a better set with metal tensioners. It only takes 2 minutes to set up after erecting your main canopy. Used for a month on a cross country trip. Went from desert heat to glacier cold. Held up beautifully. Definitely recommend. Pretty easy to install, just leave your canopy on the lowest upright position to hang the top, then set the pegs in the ground, raise the canopy to proper height, install the support pole to hold the back wall out, attach all 3 guy lines and stake them out. Simple Being from the PNW, I did apply additional waterproofing in prep for bad weather, had no leaks, and when the window is slightly down, no condensation either. ... show more

Held up against tornado winds and rain back in July and no leaks and stayed attached! It wasn't planned but I can't think of a better way for it to have been tested. (We of course we treated it with waterproofing as we do all new tents) Very pleased with this side tent.

First time to set it up - past the return date window - the bottom corner seam ripped out. Beyond sad as we leave in two days for a 10 day camping trip. Except for that - it looked to be a great tent.
