🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

This large, multi-room tent garners mixed reviews, highlighting its spaciousness and ease of setup as key benefits, making it ideal for family camping or glamping. However, concerns about durability, notably in windy or rainy conditions, and the quality of materials used, such as the zippers and tent poles, are notable. It offers ample space for multiple occupants and gear, even accommodating large air mattresses and extra equipment, yet may struggle in harsh weather.

Pros

  • 🏕️ Spacious interior accommodating up to 3 Queen-sized air mattresses
  • 🛠️ Easy setup and dismantling, generally requiring two people
  • 📏 Offers privacy with dividable sections
  • 🔄 Fits back into the original bag for transport
  • 🎒 Adequate storage features and ventilation

Cons

  • 🌬️ Not ideal for windy conditions, with reports of pole snaps
  • 💧 Vulnerability to rain, including leaking and floor material that is not waterproof
  • 🚪 Zipper and material durability concerns
  • 👎 Some units experienced rapid deterioration

Should I Buy It?

If you're in need of a spacious tent for fair-weather camping or glamping, and are prepared for potentially addressing durability issues, this tent could be a good match. However, if you camp frequently in varied or harsh weather, you might want to consider a tent known for higher durability and weather resistance.

  • Easy to setup and fits back in the bag
Obviously you want this for the space. That’s why I bought it and it fit that need very well. We had this tent truly decadent inside. The other campers in our party called our site the Taj Mahal. I’m 6’2” and had to bend a little through most of it but could stand straight up in the middle. I also read instructions like a typical man… I don’t read them at all.l, and I did fairly well. Only took 15 minutes and two of us to put it together. Great buy for a glamper like me. ... show more

  • Great tent if there’s no wind.
I purchased a 16 person Ozark tent at the beginning of February. I have used the tent on 3 occasions, all of which were within the last month. The tent was great, other than 1 pole snapping after the first minor storm. Nothing major.. the tent was still very much useable, despite a broken pole. It is now March 3rd and I just came back to my campsite after running to the grocery store for an hour maybe, to the tent starting to blow away, with all of my belongings in it. Thank God I came back when I did. At least 5 of the poles have now snapped. It is a windy day, but not excessively windy. I am shocked at the quality of this tent and how quickly it has deteriorated. I have requested a refund from the seller. This tent was not worth the $300 I spent on it. Not sure how I will finish my camping trip now that I have no standing tent. I am a very disappointed and frustrated customer at this point. ... show more

  • This is a huge tent!
I bought this tent for a recent family camping trip. I liked the fact that you could zip two individual rooms closed for privacy. There was 5 of us. We brought 3 queen sized air mattress and fit pretty comfortably with all of our clothes and gear. We even set up a small camp table and used it as an end table in the center room. It had large windows for ventilation when needed. I liked the little lantern holder loops made into the tent and it also had a side pocket for phones or whatever in each room. I can't see fitting 16 ppl in this tent with their gear comfortably, even if sleeping on floor in bags. At max possibly 10, but it would be tight. The only negative thing about this tent was that the floor was not made of more waterproof material. I did bring tarps to put underneath but unfortunately the one at the front door section was short by about a foot and the floor there got pretty wet and kind of bled inward more. I was a little surprised that the material on the floor wasn't a little thicker too. Also, you will not be able to put this tent up alone you will need at least one pole holder. It is a 2 person job at the very least we had 3. So glad the instructions were sewn into the tent bag because we lose everything! Very easy to understand instructions. Took about an hour to put up including placing tarps under first. Dismantling seemed much easier but we did have 5 people for that, and it actually fit back into the bag. I have to admit that I was shocked about that. Would have given 5 stars if not for the floor material being less than water resistant and thin. ... show more

  • Post Camp Nerves- Unzipped
Zippers were an issue, it required several zipper operations over our 3 night stay. One came completely off. The zipper fly seems abnormally lengthy and thus caused all the problems. Seams at the stakes started pulling apart, so during heavy rain, the water comes in... that was disappointing. We traveled with an senior dog and she was able to push right through the side of the tent trying to get in. Duct tape was used, not the tent's fault necessarily, but it was frustrating. That's the only picture I got of the tent. By the time the zipper pulled completely off, we packed up and called it done. ... show more

  • Great large tent for car camping
Bought this tent 2 years ago and still going strong. No rips, tears or zipper issues despite use by many kids- although we do carefully care for (dry, fold, store) our camping gear to ensure a long life. We have a family of five and set up one double and 3 single cots and still have the entire center area open for play/changing/hiding from rain or friends joining us. We have camped in cold and rainy weather and stayed dry and warm. It may be a bit big for some pre-set campsites but we’ve moved the picnic table and gotten it to fit every time. I highly recommend this tent. ... show more

  • Meh
Pro: large comfortable tent. Three room with hanging dividers. Good price for large tent $370 Cons: Cheap material, tent ripped 2 foot gash in main area, fiber glass pools snapped in the entry way doors. Tent did not do well in rain storm. Do not buy if you are using for more then a day or two.
