This tent was so easy to put up. It took less than 10 minutes. It looks huge. Perfect for a family of 5 including 3 toddlers and 2 adults. It can fit two blow up mattresses with plenty of room to still walk around. Or 3-4 kid sleeping bags across. Very functional. My husband is 6’2 and he can stand with plenty of room above him yet. The cabin style design is awesome. The quality is five stars. We’ve used this tent two times already and it’s super easy to put away in its provided carrier. It fits nicely in our garage without taking up too much space. It did rain one time for an hour and the tent stayed completely dry inside. The color is a vibrant orange. There is a divider you can add separating two rooms which is nice when the little ones go to bed first. There are also two separate entrances to prevent disturbing the other side of the tent. The media could not be loaded. We purchased this tent for our very first camping trip. We are a family of 5 so we wanted to make sure we had enough room. This tent was spacious and comfortable for us the entire trip. Before going camping I set up the tent in my front yard as many suggest just so that I could learn how to set it up and to make sure nothing was missing. We had some trouble setting it up because I didn't understand the instructions...that the metal ring key thingy was supposed to go into the bottom of the pole. Once we figured that out, it was smooth sailing. The tent takes about 15 minutes to set up with two people, and after I had done it once it was easy. I waterproofed the tent with scotchgard outdoor waterproofing spray which is suggested to do by veteran campers to make sure the tent is waterproof. On our camping trip, setup was a breeze, and we were able to fit two queen air mattresses and two twin air mattresses and six people. This did take up much of the floor space in the tent, though. The weather was clear so we slept with all the windows open and the rain fly off and it was very comfortable and breezy. Night two, however, it rained, so we had to close the windows and put on the rainfly. Fortunately, the ground vents provided adequate ventilation so we were comfortable and no rain leaked in. It wasn't raining incredibly hard and we were under a lot of tree cover, so I still don't know for sure how rainproof the tent would be in a hard downpour, but nonetheless, it performed great in the weather we had. The tent fits nicely in the bag, even though we aren't able to pack it perfectly so that's a nice bonus. Being able to stand up inside of it makes it feel like a nice cabin rather than a tent. Overall, it seems to be a great tent and we look forward to more camping trips with it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After you were soaked in an other extra large tent with kids and had to pack under heavy rain in the middle of the night in the mountains and had to drive home in those conditions, you will be very careful picking a tent for your family with younger kids and slight chances of rain. This one came 30 minutes before pouring rain and thunder. We set it up quickly and had an awesome chance to test it. It is awesome and worth every penny. I got 14x10 blue Grizzly tarp to place under it, even though the floor here is very durable. But just to keep it clean and to let longer. That tarp is about 13.8x9.8 which is perfectly what’s needed for a tent. This tent is truly weatherproofed and especially rain proofed. With all the windows and doors rolled down to let air in, rainfly protects the whole tent not letting even a drop in. Tent stays absolutely dry inside, but make sure all the stakes are in and all the cords are placed correctly otherwise water will be collecting on the top. Water won’t get in, but collected water gets heavy and that’s just to prevent the roof from bending down. So make sure everything is installed correctly. I love to be inside listening to the rain and at the same time staying completely dry. This tent is very roomy. You can fit four queen size mattresses, but gear will have to go to the awning outside the door. There are two of them. It still will be covered and dry, sitting on the grass (or ground), but I prefer to have maximum three queen sizes and all my gear inside, including little table and all the chairs and backpacks. Shoes can still go to the awning. Divider is also a nice idea. You can have two separate rooms. I was worried about being too dark inside the tent even during the day, but I was wrong. With full rain fly on, during heavy rain it’s still get enough light, so you can easily read, ply board games and even do diamond painting inside. Great tent and can serve perfectly well to save family camping trip even during heavy torrential tent. Your family will still have a great camping experience, listening to the rain and enjoying time together in the tent. ... show more

My daughter loves camping and my wife dislikes it. But when I popped this bad boy up, she said she no longer minds it. This thing is huge. My buddies call it the Tent-Mahal. It's like a mini studio apartment inside. I love the roominess and ability to stand up comfortably in any corner i'm 5'10" and have plenty of room to spare up top, the peak is high enough for me to tippy to to barely touch. Setup is fairly easy but due to the size, having two folks is helpful. Only really lacks one star due to it not being a all season tent, the rain fly helps for sure but moisture does build up on the inside. Walls are relatively thin so doesn't hold heat very well but does help with not over heating and breathability (we used a Mr Buddy heater inside. And not much light blocking ability. Would not use it for any type of winter camping. It would have been nice to have a few extra loops/hooks inside to hang lights or have a few extra pockets for items but that's just personal preference. And the door zippers, though I understand the functionality of the design, it's a little cumbersome to zip and unzip especially in the dark. Overall, great size, great tent. We fit pretty much a play area for the kids at night and comfortably fit a queen size air mattress inside. ... show more
