I bought these for a road trip and they are hard to find in local stores. I’ve also noticed when I do find them, they are not always fresh. These were very fresh and worth the price for a yummy treat on a long car trip.

They are very good, however keep them in an airtight container because they do get chewy and stale quick at least here in Florida. Otherwise no complaints.

I ordered these in a 2lb bag for my birthday because I like old fashion candy. The price at $13-something a bag is a good deal comparable to buying these at Family Dollar for $1.25 for 3 oz. The candy arrived fresh, well packaged, and in good condition. This candy is made by Atkinson Candy Co in the great state of Texas. These do taste good just not quite as good as full size candy. They also have a habit of being undone on one end. Not all, maybe a third are completely twisted closed. Still good value.
