Description

• PHENOMENAL PRODUCT!!!
Color: MogoCrane Belt Kit
WOW! I have got to say I was not expecting to luv this product the way I do. This seriously met mii expectations in nearly every area of what a weight support belt is supposed to do. PROS WEIGHT: It supports the weight of your gimbal and then some. I have the Zhiyun Crane 3s and for those of you who have that gimbal, you know how heavy it can get when holding it. I used it for mii last 2 shoots (1 a small war scene with lots of running and the other for an episode where both our actors spent most of their time on the trails hiking) and this baby seriously saved mii back from a LOT of unnecessary back breaking. As you can see in the picture I provided, I'm just holding it with one hand. Don't mind the expression on mii face. That's only because it was hot as hell and I was sweating ballz LOL You seriously can't feel the weight of your gimbal once it's attached to the weight support belt. SUPPORT HOLDER: As I stated before, I wasn't expecting to luv this product. The holder that your gimbal sits in, holy crap! That thing is hefty, it's rugged, sturdy and definitely durable! It's well-built and very easy to use while filming on the go. CONS BELT: Mii only gripe about this item is the belt itself. The belt is made of simple material that isn't all that comfortable. And, when you're wearing this for the bulk of your day of filming, you can feel it around your waist. But, it's nothing a simple hack can't fix by way of placing a folded towel, or whatever you have that's comfortable, on the inside to help soften the strap. I wish it was made of something more "padded" that way it would really rest around your waist while filming on the go with a gimbal attached. Overall, the quality of this weight support belt is awesome, and at the price you really canNOT go wrong! A definite must have if you're the filmmaker that's alwayz on the go with their gimbal. ... show more

  • To small but made it work after and adjustment. Yes I voided warnty.
Color: MogoCrane Belt Kit
I have a big waist. I am not a small guy. You can tell this was built for a small guy. Real world sizes need to be applied to size (to the maker of this belt support!) Add 4 more inches or so please. I cannot seeing that cost to much to make belt 4 inches longer or more. I cut one of the adjustment brackets off and that let me fit it ob me. (Yes warranty voided by doing this). Make the belt longer for the cost of this belt you should be doing this. Thank you. ... show more

  • It is what it is.
Color: MogoCrane Belt Kit
I tried everything to help relieve some of the stress of holding a Rs2 Gimbal with a camera and monitor for extended periods of time. At first I tried adding a Mono pod to the base so if I needed to film a long stationary scene I could just extend the mono pod. It works but then the problem is you have this huge pole hanging off the bottom of your setup which affects the type of shots you can do, not to mention if it bumps into anything it can cause camera shake. I saw this product before deciding on the nuclear option (for my wallet) and getting the Thanos arm or a Flowline vest. This product is simple, you see the pic? yeah that's how it works. The build quality is real nice, I kept reading reviews about a piece of it getting loose but I haven't experienced that yet, I don't know if the Product has had revisions or if its just my luck. If you're filming a wedding and you need to do a follow shot as the bride walks in but then that leads to a long ceremony where you don't want to hold the entire weight of the gimbal all you have to do is put the base of your gimbal into the socket and hold it at a tilt. It really helps a lot, I was in car accident that damaged my back so holding the gimbal for extended periods of time used to be hell for me. Now when ever I get tired or even when I'm just on stand by waiting it helps so much to be able to give my arms and back a break. I give it 5 stars because it has fulfilled the needs I wanted out of this product. It works as advertised, feels well made and I really couldn't say what I think would make it better. *I will update review if needed* ... show more

  • Best way to go if you don't want to wear a vest
Color: MogoCrane Belt Kit
I didn't have high expectations for this when I bought it. But it's been great. Really, this is the best way to operate a gimbal without having to wear a vest. Sure, it's not the highest quality but it's good enough. It really does take a lot of fatigue away and reduces the micro jitters that occur when you are overtaxed. What would make this better is if it had a padded belt and suspender option to distribute the load across your entire body. But you can improve this with a neck strap. Only thing with a neck strap is you reduce the mobility of the gimbal. Also, I use a very short monopod that allows me to get my RS2 up to eye level and above since the tripod feet are a little short. Really, I have no complaints so far. I've used it on a dozen shoots and it's been great. Footage is decent. Recommend. ... show more
