Edit#1: I've had this unit for only 7 months and it's already stopped working. I have reached out to the seller. I'll update again later. Edit #2: So pleased with the customer service with this seller! Very prompt and courteous! I had my replacement machine on my doorstop within 7 days! I hope the problem with the 1st machine does not happen again because I love this thing! So far I absolutely love this machine! The presets are really good. Everything I have cooked in it so far has been perfect! I will never cook bacon any other way again! Comes out perfect everytime! Reheating pizza tastes better that it did from the delivery! I had one that was something very similar. However, it broke after a year and a half. Thank God I purchased the warranty. This new one does everything, and it seems more powerful. The air fryer can rotisserie a chicken, bake cookies, reheat cold pizza, and so much more. I would suggest singles or couples, tiny homes, and campers to purchase one. You truly wouldn’t use your oven!!! ... show more

    • Stopped working Not too sure!
Update -May 15th 2023- this replacement is working great so far. I really do like it- the size, they way air frys and the taste of the food. Will recommend! Update: Feb 2nd. True to their word I Got my replacement air fryer as promised. Keeping my fingers crossed that this one doesn’t go bad. I now have two sets of accessories which is good, since I didn’t have to return them nor the air fryer. I am looking forward to doing lots of meals . Excellent customer service - thank you Kalorik. Update: I contacted the seller and received an immediate response. Excellent customer service. They will ship me a new unit. I can’t wait to get it- I am really hooked on air drying. I hope this one last for quite a while. Update: Jan 17th 2023. I was just beginning to like this air fryer but …. Last night set it to air fry for 10 mins- heard it go off without the usual beep. When I checked there was no power. Nothing lighted. Unplugged , changed outlet. Absolutely no power. Just about one month of use. I did see this complaint but couldn’t believe it would happen and that quickly. Soooo disappointed ———————— I purchased this air fryer to replace my Gowise air fryer which stopped working just about 2 years after I got it. That one was good and cooked well but I didn’t like the open down door and it was small. Decided on the Kalorik - wanted the French door and a larger air fryer. Came with a dent on the top right side- hope this is not hampering anything. I Just tried some wings using the preset 15 mins @ 450. I had to add 15 more minutes to have the wings cooked. It is very quiet compared to the Gowise-(I couldn’t have a conversation without moving about ten feet away.) I like the French doors and it comes with a lot of accessories. The controls are not as user friendly for l changing temp and time on the presets. It is still early now so after a few more tries at other dishes I will update. ... show more

I ordered from the Amazon resale the first Kalorik MAXX® Countertop Air Fryer Ovens AFO 50253 OW. It came damaged and was dented by the control know (see the photos). The dent was not important but when I tested the heat settings with two of my digital thermometers the temperature would fluctuate and would be anywhere from 30 degrees to 65 degrees off. NOTE: I tested both my digital thermometers with an old small air fryer I have with the result being the air fryer and both my digital thermometers read about the same, therefore my digital thermometers were correct. I contacted the Kalorik Company and was told it sounds like the circuit board was damaged likely from the dent. I did receive a credit from Amazon and purchased two more assuming they would be fine. Yes two for two different locations. The first replacement I received looked great but when I did a test to see if it held an accurate temperature it failed like the first one. Then I received the second air fryer which came badly dented at the top a bottom of were the two doors close (see the photos). I have no clue how this damage could happen when the doors were OK. It looked as if the person who assembled it just put the doors on a damaged product. Out of curiosity I did a temperature test on this damaged air fryer and its temperature also fluctuated and would be anywhere from 30 degrees to 65 degrees off. The result was everything was sent back to Amazon and I will buy another brand (not Kalorik). I can’t even imagine how many people purchased this air fryer or any of Kalorics air fryer models assuming the temperature settings are correct. Where is the quality control at Kaloric? For all you buyers of this or any other air fryer brand test the temperature with a digital temperature for its accuracy. Never assume it is correct. ... show more
