It fits perfectly where it’s supposed to on the Tacoma and the magnet it comes with is incredibly strong. It takes a good amount of force to take it off the mount. I don’t recommend putting the magnet on the mount without it being stuck on your phone first because it’s really hard to get off. It’s very sturdy and easy to install. Picked this up for my 2018 Taco TRD-OR. Works great, the angle fits right over the groove on the dash. Don’t know why I didn’t grab one sooner! Holds the phone perfectly where it doesn’t interfere in my infotainment, nor does it get in the way of my air vents. Sits low enough so it doesn’t interfere with my vision of the road. Installation was super easy. Comes with extra 3M tape, and metal rings for a case just incase you don’t happen to have a MagSafe compatible case. Think I may buy a second to mount for passengers. Great MagSafe holder! For anyone wondering, the adhesive MUST be left on a few hours to grip well onto the surface. If this is not done, it will not hold well in place. Mine has worked fabulously under rough road conditions after proper installation.

I will say this is the best phone mount I’ve ever had. Super strong magnet and the holder it self holds up very well!! Would definitely recommend. Been using it now for over 2 months with temperatures over 100 degrees most days and still holding up great!!!

The magnet was too weak to hold my phone, even tilted up, even with my phone case removed. I tried it on both a samsung s24 ultra and s22 ultra (in case the s24 ultra is notably heavy or less magnetic or something): neither stick. I thought about adding sandpaper or some kind if sticky grip stuff to the holder, but returned it immediately. Life's too short to rig up fixes when you can just buy plastic stuff on Amazon. The phone holder was great while it was cold out, worked great and felt like good quality. Once it warmed up felt way more give whenever moving the mount and one day it fell off, used the replacement adhesive it came with, waited 72 hours but it came off the same after a week.
