Description

Kaiser Mini 3 with Folding Arm is a small, inexpensive, plastic slide viewer. The unit is powered by 2 "AA" batteries (not included) and features a 3x magnifying lens and pull out hinged support bracket for angled viewing. To use, place the slide in the top slot, press down on it, and the bulb is pressure activated on. The viewer measures 3.5 x 2.5 x 2.5" (89 x 63.5 x 63.5 mm) and has a 2x2" viewing area.

It does the job but not my favorite slide viewer. The screen is convex so the images look a bit distorted. And it requires batteries unlike the small one that can be held up to the light and presents a clearer image.

Wish it were a little larger magnification. It has a port for a cord for no cord was included, not indication on the description that there was an option for a cord and was told that no cord was available. It worked as it should but just seemed a bit inferior.

Perfect for my needs. Just wanted to quickly review slides in order to have selected one's scanned onto a dvd. This is not for enjoying the viewing of slides as screen is too small. Works well though.

I purchased this viewer to be able to sort 35mm slides and to see exactly what each slide contained. It is maybe OK for the home user viewing "home made" slides, it not adequate for someone doing hundreds of slides reviewing the quality of the picture. The magnifier is not powerful enough to really see the quality of the slide and the light needs to be brighter. The housing is plastic and I doubt this will last under professional use. Basic slide viewer. Works OK, but lens is not multicoated so has a lot of reflection/glare from room lights. Also the magnification is pretty weak for seeing details in the slide.
