My son has Autism (and is nonverbal) & it is really hard to find toys he enjoys other than his tablet. I was skeptical when he picked this out as a Christmas present. We got it for him, and he absolutely loved this little thing. He would start stimming when it would get turned on because he was so excited. I purchased this for a Christmas tree and instead my 3 yr old has taken it over, it is easy for him to use and put together, he assembles the track by himself and he’s 3. He places the trains on the track and has lots of fun with it. The only problem for me was the engine gets hot fast and it’s sucks the life out of my double a batteries. In one day my son went threw 6 double aa energizer batteries. That is the only down fall. This product did not come with a remote control. But it is durable and good for only hard wood floors as it does not stay on the track if you put it together on carpet. ... show more

Don’t buy this it’s cheap made and will break extremely easy! You get what u pay for. Put batteries in it and it won’t even turn on. Kids lost the box so I can’t do anything about it! So much for my kids Christmas.
