Adult assembly needed, but once together this thing is awesome! The trains and track are durable. Our 2, 4, and 6 year olds love using the switches when the trains stop and go. Wonderful birthday gift!

I had to return and reorder as one fo the tracks had issues with inclination and trains were unable to go ahead! Nothing changed much as reordered product has similar problem.

My 2.5yr old and I LOVE this train set! We even bought James & Gordon too! My only complaint is the trains WON'T TURN OFF. My son will walk away to do something else, and the trains continue to go around the track (or worse, they're derailed and just keep spinning) as long as another is talking/moving.
