My grandkids (aged 3-7 yr)LOVED this. The track is tricky for the youngest ones to assemble, but it is infinitely variable, and clever in its interlocking design The kids love to make different paths, and because the interlocking pieces are so small, you can always make it fit. The little signs and trees are fine, but basically don't add much to the play value, so I am gradually pitching them, as picking them all up gets old. The dinosaur cars are great and the kids loved them--they can even climb relatively steep track arrangements, which is extra cool. However, it is NECESSARY to have a tiny MAGNETIZED Phillips screwdriver to get the little battery cover open and closed because the teensy little screw will not stay even to a second when you try to screw it in or out--which you will be doing a lot because the cars have to be manually shut off each time and that means either you will have to check the cars constantly to make sure they are tuned off, or you will have to change batteries frequently. It isn't any expensive toy, but it isn't gong to last long, either. One of the dino cars quite working the first time the battery died. The second one is still going well a month later, but two working cars would really be preferable....I'm not sad I bought it, because it is such a hit, but a few design changes would have gone a long way in making it a better toy. ... show more

We had a similar track to this that my son loved but the ramp pieces are poorly made and don’t fit to the track. The cars are fast which my son loves. The other track we had I was able to use all the pieces that came with it. I wouldn’t buy this again - half the pieces don’t work. Some reviews say the cars stop working I hope that isn’t the case .. we shall see. ... show more
