The 4-year old likes this toy.I love that it is interactive. As another reviewer noted, the cars are very small which can potentially be a choking hazard. So they need to be kept away from babies and toddlers who put things in their mouths. The 4-year old was able to master it within about 5 or so tries and still enjoys playing with it. The 2-year old, however, is having a bit of trouble being able to master it, which is fine. She keeps trying and isn't getting frustrated. We keep it on a coffee table for them to play with. This has been one of the best toys for my 4 and 2 year old boys. It has kept their attention and even the adults love it. So fun! Durability for long term is questionable but overall for the price it was well worth it!

    • Fun and Educational Toy
This toy kept my grandson engaged for quite some time. He did however lift up on the red track part a few days later and the snap-in piece toward the back broke off. Fortunately, it still rests on the base enough so that the vehicles still run properly on the track. It is a fun toy. I like it too! Lol!! :) ... show more

My kids just opened this as a Christmas gift from Santa! They LOVE it. However, I have an extra yellow piece and no stop sign. Not a huge deal, still works correctly, but would like the piece of course!

This one is significantly larger than other ones you can find on Amazon. We had no problems with this one working as intended. Heck I love this toy! Grandpa loves this toy, mom and grandma too! It has enough knobs and levers to allow for family play and it’s so satisfying to launch the cars to the helicopter! Quaility parts, fun little magnet cars, engaging play for all!

    • This is a really great toy, came back to review over a year later with some notes
We got this for our daughter (age 3 at the time) on Christmas, and it was her favorite toy of several. Even being so young, it captivated her and she was soon able to do all of the tasks. She still likes it a lot at age 4, and it’s held up. It’s a fun toy for parent and child to do together too. We keep it in a closet and pull it out periodically for her (we find rotating toys is the way to go instead of having everything just out all the time), and she will play with it for a good 15-30 minutes. It’s also a favorite of her younger cousin when she visits. Love that it needs NO batteries. Only thing I’ve noticed: the ambulance car is better weighted/balanced than the other cars as sometimes the other cars have to be slightly nudged if they stop on the track descent. This toy encourages problem solving and fine motor skills. We’ve gotten it as gifts for her classmates’ birthday parties and one nice thing: classmates never seem to have one of these already so it’s nice to know it’ll be an original toy. One point of advice: if you get it as a gift, consider sending a link of the toy’s promo video so they can understand how it all connects together. I think it’s hard to get the concept or to initially grasp how neat it is without seeing the video first. ... show more

    • Makes an awful clicking noise
I got this one because it has replacement parts but the mountain track makes an awful clicking noise!!!!! It’s terrible! Still a fun toy because of the cause and effect part, but it’s a trade off for a quiet toy that breaks quickly versus noisy one that has replacement parts.
