What I love: Love that the Hotwheels Toy Car Track Set is tall and the perfect size for my 4yo son. It keeps him quite busy and entertained :-). This was a great buy! Assembly tips: Assembly was not quick - took maybe just over an hour. Unfortunately, when you connect parts they snap in place with the idea of never coming apart. How to connect isn't always clear given several parts look the same. I mistakenly put one part together and had to pry it apart to put the correct pieces of the track together. Take your time during assembly so you avoid that mistake. Durability: We've had the track set for 4 months and it has held up with the exception of my son jumping on it and breaking a piece off that I've not been able to reassemble just yet. Bought this for my 3yr old. It took just under an hour to put together with my husband (mainly because of the thousand stickers’ application that constitutes ‘Step 1’ lol). Seems pretty sturdy once it’s all set up. It’s a pretty substantial size! The dinosaur mouth is super exciting to my boys (6 & 3 yo), though it doesn’t always line up perfectly to open at the level of a passing by ramp, so sometimes the cars just smash into the dinosaur head, slow down/halt, then fall down the middle of the track. That, and you want to use Hot Wheels that are designated as ‘Best for Track’ as they’ll gather up the speed to best fly over the track gaps in the front without slowing down. The only other thing is the dinosaur is reeeeally loud as it descends. So much so that my 3yo ended up covering his ears the first handful of times he used it, before deciding the loud noise meant no harm and he could stop protecting his ears haha. In any case, it looks pretty awesome, it’s huge which makes it cool in my kids’ books, it has room for a ton of hot wheels cars, it’s big enough for my kids to both play and be entertained by it at the same time without stepping on each other’s toes, and we got it’s a Black Friday deal so the price was decent. ... show more
