This safe is good for what it is - a low cost, low-end, and minimal storage space for small amounts of valuables. It's not the strongest or sturdiest safe, but you get what you pay for. If someone really wanted to, I'm sure they could rip this safe apart with a moderate amount of effort. However, it suits my purposes well. Given its size, it was easy to hide in a location that no one would find without doing some serious scavenging. If you're looking for high quality, you'll have to pay for a bigger and better safe. This is an okay safe. It's not really meant to be put on the wall though... Based on how it opens. It would open from the top pulling the door out, if screwed into a wall. No problem, I had a decent shelf in my closet to screwed into. I like the money bag that comes with it, and I feel a little safer with my valuables in there. However, there's not a screw over the battery case. And oftentimes when closing the safe, the hatch will pop open in the batteries pour out. This will cause you to go get to the backup key. If they made it to where you had the option to screw in the batteries, much like children's toys... This would make it a better safe. I just put some tape over it.
