  • JOYO is a great pedal company
Pattern Name: Classic Flanger
They make great sounding pedals for a great price. This flanger is exceptional. Lots of control with the sound. Can duplicate many classic and modern sounds from many a genera of music. I question why I've spent hundreds of $ in the past on pedals that, for some, have been lackluster.

  • It cuts the volume some, but it is adjustable.
Pattern Name: Tube Tremolo
Its a good value. It sounds good. Only nit is it cuts the volume when its turned on. At least mine did. I watched a video foud at the link below that shows you how to adjust. Bit of a hassle, but the option is there. Again, for the price it is a very nice build.

  • Not bad, but has some drawbacks
Pattern Name: Vintage Phase
Was supposed to live on a board with other smaller pedals, ranging from the pricy to less expensive than this. The enclosure is a bit larger than expected; for a one-knob phaser, it has a significantly larger footprint than most of the current 'micro' pedals. Case and button are sturdy / no pops. Finish was well done. Negatives outweighed the postiives, though. First and foremost was a large reduction in frequency response above 4kHz. That means any sort of 'presence' is greatly reduced or eliminated, and it's quite noticeable. All such things are matters of taste, but I strongly did not like it. FWIW, this was tried out with a Jazzmaster with vintage 65 pickups. I wondered if it had true bypass, as well, because it seemed that those same frequencies were also cut - but to a lesser degree - when the effect was not engaged. I was so disappointed that I didn't bother trying to explore further. I removed it from my board. Adding to my decision was just the lack of any control other than the chicken-head for filter speed. I have many 'less pricy' pedals, from this manufacturer and others, and most are pretty darn good. I found this to be a huge disappointment. Is it a classic sound? Yes, it's a classic phase filter. But if that's what you need, I would humbly suggest looking -anywhere- else. This is not 'serviceable,' it's 'bad.' ... show more

  • Nice phase modulation pedal
Pattern Name: Vintage Phase
Not a nice pedal "for the price" - A very nice phase pedal, regardless of price. Build quality is solid and produces nice vintage vibes
