I bought the TS9DX pedal about two months ago and I didn't write any reviews because I had to try it, and the only thing I could write was how fast the pedal was delivered. This came the next day. So, people have asked me about the TS9DX and it's hard to give them an idea. My music style is Blues, and the good thing about this pedal, for me, is that it has an extra control and I can vary the Screamer sound to the desired. For me, I have the selector most of the time on the "Turbo" channel which is a thicker sound or a deeper sound .... With the Mode control, everyone can adjust the sound they like to their liking. I accompany the "TS9DX" with the pedal "Digital Stereo Chorus" also from the same company "Ibanez" in one of its channels With the TS9 you acquire a single output sound. I regret not having given my impression about the quality of the "TS9DX" before because I had to prove how good and versatile the pedal is ... ... show more

Does exactly what it is supposed to, boosts your overdrive and leads. Gives great sustain. Great pedal with 4 different tubescreamer settings on it. Great addition to my pedalboard. If it's good enough for the late great Gary Moore, it's perfect for me.

    • Four great OD sounds from one awesome pedal
A great alternative to anyone considering a keely modded TS9, or anyone who doesn't want to commit to a singe OD sound in one pedal. The 4 modes are all unique, with a classic TS9 sound, a "+" sound emulating the Keely mod, a "Hot" setting which I believe is an additional mid-boost, and the "Turbo" setting, which is a great low-end boost, resulting in a crazy electric bajo sexto type sound. I usually keep mine on turbo, and I love it for rhythm riffs in the low range of the neck. All in all, a very versatile, high-quality pedal. If you're looking at a stock TS9, there's no reason not to spend the extra money for this, and if you want a Keely modded TS9, get this instead and you'll have a couple extra modes to play with. ... show more

It's basically the 808 and 909 in the same pedal with the 909 having two augmented versions. 4 in 1 Versatility. I run this pedal into an orange micro terror through a 2x12 with vintage 30s. Not only the best tone I have ever had? The loudest as well

    • Good boost pedal
If you play rock, jazz, or anything with lite distortion, this is a great pedal for you. If you play any metal genres/sub genres, this is just a boost pedal. But I will say, it sounds fantastic as such running into a 6505+.

I'm really in love with my TS9DX, i can have the typical Ibanez TS9 sound and also came with 3 more modes that changes the character of the overdriven guitar to suit your tone needs further.

    • The Ibanez Tube Screamer doesn't disappoint!!!
This is the most awesome sounding distortion pedal I have ever heard. With 4 modes and three ways to adjust your settings, it is very versatile and sounds amazing. If you are looking for the must-have pedal to complete your pedalboard, this is it !!!
