  • Sounds great for the price
Style: Circuit-Chorus Color: Blue-white
I’ve read a few places online that this is a Boss CE-2 clone and sometimes I hate how great this pedal sounds 😫 because it makes it that much harder for me to justify forking out $200 for a Boss only to sound a little bit better. It’s not a perfect clone, but it sounds really good. I don’t get any noise out of this pedal, it sounds great, and it’s cheap so it’s a great value. Eventually I’ll probably switch this out for a Boss CE-2W but I’m content with this for now and use it for live gigs. My ears prefer this sound over the EHX Small Clone (which I’ve also owned before), so imo this might be the best value pedal and best chorus pedal overall under $100. ... show more

Style: Distortion,Simulater Color: Golden-white
Well made pedal for the price! This pedal is my new favorite. This pedal has three control knobs…level, tone, and gain…preforms very nicely!! Well worth the price and will not break the bank!!!

  • Works perfectly for audio signal routing.
Style: A/B Switch Color: Black,Gold
JOYO Switch Pedal Switch Guitar Pedals in Loop A Directly to Line B, Two Output Effects Loop Chains (A/B Switch JF-30) PROS: We're sending the main audio feed from our audio-video sound system into the JOYO, then the A/B outputs are routing the main audio feed to 2 different PCs. Works perfectly with no degradation in the audio signal. Appears to be well made. Solid steel-like housing. Nice lettering, attractive matte black finish. Also takes a 9V DC power adapter (not included). Be sure the 9V "DC" adapter connector is negative (-) inside the pole and positive (+) outside. Excellent, quick customer service for questions and concerns. CONS: The 9V battery is a very, very tight fit inside the housing and only fits one way on its side. If you have audio playing when you press the A/B switch, there will be a popping or quick distorted sound. Otherwise it is quiet if no audio is playing (like most A/B switches). I wish the letters (A and B) were much, much larger for easy visibility. We placed large A and B labels for better visibility at a glance. ... show more

  • Great Sounding
Style: Crunch,Distortion,Vintage Color: Red
I was looking for a low cost pedal that sounded good (lower mid peak, crunchy tone) that I could modify. This didn’t disappoint. Sounds great in front of a dirty Marshall DSL. A little compressed, but you can’t have everything.

  • No where near Plexi
Style: Distortion,Simulater Color: Golden-white
I like Joyo pedals I own several, they are well built, durable and a great value. That being said this pedal is a disappointment. It is an ok distortion pedal but if you are looking for a Plexi in a box there are better, the NUX Plexi Crunch is much more “Marshall-y”. On the plus side it’s quieter than the NIX, and the gain is pretty smooth, and it is the usual quality build. I find I have to apply a bit more tone than usual as it is a bit dark and dull at 12 o’clock, the gain is quite a bit less than I expected. It is a useful pedal just not as advertised. ... show more

  • Great tones for small money.
I bought this to go with a tiny budget rig I was working on. Tired of changing my pedal board from one amp to another I bought this for my budget portable rig, Orange Micro Terror with 8 in cabinet. This pedal instantly impressed. I like its tone as much, hate to say maybe even better, than my $200 EVH 5150 overdrive pedal. I was using my old Boss DS-1 but wasn't quite there for what I wanted but this, along with my Donner two in one (reverb/delay) pedal that little amp just rivaled my main rig at a fraction of the cost. The options on this pedal are a welcome addition to the simplicity of the Orange Micro Terror with its volume, tone and gain knobs. The tones I am now getting out of this rig are spectacular at any price. I have tried this using two Fender Stratocaster's, one with noiseless pickups, an EVH Wolfgang, and an Ibanez S series with Seymour Duncan pickups and all sound great. The pedal does produce some noise, not too bad and the boost can be shrill but still usable. All in all awesome pedal for under $40. ... show more

  • Nice Chorus Effect
Style: Circuit-Chorus Color: Blue-white
I’ve had mixed results with cheap pedals, especially when compared to more established brands, but this chorus does the thing you’d expect it to do, has that 80’s flange chorus type sound that’s great for retro dark wave and post punk sounds.
