I couldn’t say enough good things about this nail kit! This kit paid for itself within one manicure. Literally so cheap. Even just for gel polish at the nail salon I was paying $45 😭. And this was what, like $35?? Crazy. Anyway, this kit has just helped me so much. There’s so many cute colors, so I’m able to be super creative with it, and have gotten very good at French tips- many seen in photos. The LED light works very well for the price too. It takes a while to dry under the lamp, but not too long that I want to buy another one. This one works well. I did Separately purchase top and base coat in bigger bottles (the ones that come with this kit are really small), and I bought cuticle oil and a cuticle clipper from the store. One thing that I also decided to do, which is not a necessity but I feel helps tremendously with keeping them on for longer, is I bought a nail dehydrator from my local beauty store and it helps my nails stay much longer than without it. Overall, I would TOTALLY RECOMMEND this kit. I use it almost every week, have done 9 manicures, 3 pedicures, and still have lots of polish left. Haven’t had to refill anything yet ! This was a good purchase. It’s a great starter kit if you’re new to doing your own manicure and tired of paying salon prices. It comes with so many colors and a ton of extra accessories. This picture is from my first paint job. They lasted about a week because I didn’t too off the edges of my nails. The 2nd time was a bit time consuming because you have to soak the gel polish off. Tip* file the sheen of each mail, fill a bowl with hot water, put paper towels in a freezer bag and pour in acetone. Put your hands in the bag and submerge in the bowl of hot water. Soak for 10 minutes while rubbing fingernails on the paper towels. Use nail scraper to push loose polish off and repeat process. So far my 2nd paint job has lasted over a week and are holding up nicely! 💅 ❤️ ... show more

The only reason this gets 4 stars is because it doesn’t come with tips (which I need because my nails are so short). With this kit I don’t know if I will ever go back to a nail salon! It comes with so many colors, all of the starting out nail things you may need including extras like stickers and French tip guides. The big lamp makes it so easy to cure the polish and, so far, the gel has held up amazingly. I have used this machine 5 or 6 times now, and I absolutely love it! It is simple to use, and the polishes that come with it are (surprisingly) good quality for the most part. I only had an issue with the brighter pinks and red because they tend to bleed easier than other colors. The price of this set, and the quality are 100% worth the price… especially because it costs $40 or more for a one time nail appointment. They provide directions that make it easier to get. I struggle with my right hand b/c I’m left handed and really didn’t want to spend too much time picking this skill up. I am by no means a professional but me and my 2 year old love this set! The bottles of polish are a bit small but the coverage is very good, so that’s possibly why. It is very easy to apply and the light is perfect. I was pleasantly surprised how how easy this was to use! I have been wanting a gel kit to do my nails at home myself and finally decided to go with this kit. Came exactly as described and worked perfectly. It’s more so that I need practice to get it a bit better around the edges. ONLY thing that I felt a bit cheated on was that the bottles were pretty small. First time using gel polish. I was surprised by how quick and easy it was. The bottles of polish are small, not the size of an average nail polish. That is ok though since you get a lot for the price. I’d recommend to anyone.
