I put off getting an at-home gel kit for years because I like the pampering aspect of going to the salon. I just could not justify the cost anymore and got this when it had a coupon so it was less than one gel manicure from the salon. It's super simple to use and gives great results. You do need to take your time so the gel doesn't pool in the creases of the nail bed, but it still doesn't take very long and the results last for at least two weeks with very minimal chipping (if you don't pick at them). I like that it came with a base coat and 3 different top coats for different looks. The variety of colors isn't exactly to my tastes, but there is enough there to work with, especially with the different top coats. Yes, the bottles are small, but what do you expect at this price? And honestly, I don't know that I would want them any bigger because I would never use them up before they got gross. The only thing I would have preferred is if it would've come with maybe one or two fewer colors and more bottles of the base coat since that is used EVERY time. That said, I've done 5 manicures now between my daughter and myself and the bottle is not yet empty. (So if people say the bottles are good for one set, they are clearly using too much). I would also recommend having some of that gel remover stuff of a nail drill to get it off because that is what takes the longest. ... show more

I had bought another nail system that was delayed in shipping. I was really hoping to try doing my own gel manicure for Christmas, so I saw this for a very reasonable price and decided to give it a shot. It honestly impressed me. It had everything I needed, was well packaged, and all fit nicely back in the box when I was done. Nail prep is a huge part of this process. I urge, take your time! Trim your nails, shape them, use a cuticle remover (I used S. Hanson), and make sure your nails are clean. I followed a three stroke approach with each nail (painted middle, then side, side). I cured each layer about 90s and did a slight touch test after each cure. Once all was applied I did my final top coat cure for 2 mins a hand and that cured everything perfectly. I’m excited to try the other colors. I will add I also purchased (separately) a peel off base so I adjusted my cure times to accommodate that. 60s may be fine if you’re not doing that additional step. I don’t hardly write reviews, but I felt if someone was looking at this kit they maybe a beginner and would love a real review. So I bought kit 32KIT 1G 01-A 107P bc my uv lamp quit working. Figured if I need to replace the lamp why not get some extra goodies too. Lamp is good so far. The drill that came with it. Well it may work in a pinch if needed. It is cheaply made. I put one of the provided bits in it. Tested it out. And you can see by the attached pictures that happen when I removed it. It went back in. But it shouldn’t do that. It comes with a cord. But you will need your own block. It’s not cordless. The on/off and speed control seems cheap and like if it’s used a lot it may break. The rest of the goodies are you basic tools. The oil pen is nice. Oil is thin. And please note the polish bottles are tiny. Kinda like a sample bottle. Have tried them out yet to be able to speak on the quality. But if you’re wanting to do your own nails and don’t want to break the bank. This is a decent kit to start with. But go ahead and definitely add a better quality cordless drill to your cart. ... show more

Not too bad for the price and all the materials that came with it although I wish the bottles were bigger, I definitely don’t regret the purchase!! I bought a separate kit that comes with bigger bottles of the base & top gel, it also came with nail dehydrator and a bottle of primer, it all paired together really well. Just need to see how long it last, chipping etc… ... show more

I bought this kit for my wife in December 2023. It arrived in a timely manner and undamaged. It is now January 2025 and the kit continues to work perfectly. From the polish, to the tools, to the UV light, it remains intact and as effective as when new. Additionally, my wife loves it since it allows her full control of her nail care. All while producing expert nail salon-looking results. Not only does this kit allow my wife to doll herself up, even on short notice, it does it without the ridiculous prices salons charge. Got this set for my 11 year old and we both tried it. First, the instructions are really limited and the product/tools are labeled pretty poorly. We were able to figure out what and how to use each item for the most part. The biggest complaint. Is the while there are a variety of colors, the bottles are about a quarter of the size of a regular sized nail polish. Because there is only one base coat and a couple top coats it’s highly likely this set will run out of base and top coats quickly and long before all colors have been used. Should have come with more base and top coat. The color bottles are also small. I’d say maybe good for a few paints and then gone. The lamp does work and the gel does cure really hard.
