We work in a minimally air conditioned warehouse in the south, and the Jisulife fan is a life saver. The functionality of this item is otherworldly, not only do you get a nice pocket sized fan, but also a neat flashlight, and the whole package is also a battery bank for charging your devices on the go. This fan is a must have for going to places like Disney World in the heat of summer, it packs away nicely and now you have a lighter load because you no longer need to carry a separate battery bank to charge your phone on the go. The fan has two speeds, both effective. I love the fact that it has a flashlight and you can charge your phone! The fan is small enough to fit into your purse. There are two drawbacks - the button can accidentally get turned on when digging in your purse and run down the battery, plus it is a bit unsteady when using the fan on the counter. I'm a little surprised at how well this thing works. I've purchased a handheld fan sort of like this in that past and it was a letdown - flimsy, weak airflow, awful battery life. I had hope for this Jisulife fan but had tempered expectations. Pleased to say that, so far, I have been very happy with this. I carry a bigger portable fan in my tech bag but I wanted something I could put in my pocket for times when I can't carry my whole bag with me. Also I run hot and some stores and restaurants here get pretty stuffy and I wanted something I could carry around to keep cool when I'm out running errands. It works pretty well for that; it's compact and it has 2 speed settings, the higher of which puts out a pretty good flow of air. But it does really well as a mini-desk fan, too! I've had a couple times where my bigger fan got left at home or the battery was dead so I used this instead. It folds out to stand on a desk fairly steadily (as long as you leave it alone once you set it up). It's angle isn't really adjustable; you can't have it aim up at your face, but it blows a very satisfying amount of air and has made a very noticeable difference when I've used it sitting down at a stuffy restaurant. The battery so far has lasted a very long time (I have yet to run it all the way down so I can't estimate real-world time yet). It has been a lifesaver a couple times already. It charges via USB-C, which is nice. It has a USB-A port so you can, apparently, use it as a power bank to charge other devices, but I have not tried that and don't really intend to since I carry a dedicated power bank in my bag at all times. It also has a built-in flashlight that I can see being useful. It's easy enough to turn on (hold the power button for a couple seconds) but not so easy that you'll do it by accident. The shape of the fan when folded up is a natural fit for a flashlight, so it doesn't feel like an awkward, tacked-on gimmick. It puts out a decent enough amount of light. I can see it actually being useful in a pinch, though I don't know how much use I'll actually get. It has a "safety" feature where if you touch the (very soft) fan blades, it will shut itself off. I'm not sure if I have a strong feeling on if this is a good thing or an annoyance, but it makes sense. It's noise level is fine. It doesn't have an annoying whine and it's not super loud like other portable fans I've used before. I used it in a (not at all crowded) movie theater and I could hear it in quiet scenes but it wasn't distracting overall. (If I had been in a more crowded movie with people sitting nearby I probably would've felt a bit more anxious about it's noise but it was fine). But for general use, it's not a distracting sound level at all. It's portability is nice and it's performance is good. So far I'm happy with it. Worth the price. ... show more

This is the second fan of this type that I have bought. I did not buy both fans from the same company. I like this fan better than the other one. What I like about this fan is the price and that the breeze is very powerful. I like how there is a flashlight at the bottom, which is much more powerful than I thought it would have been. And that little flashlight at the bottom allows the fan to be stable when you open it to have it stand hands free on your desk. Another great advantage of this fan is that you can charge it when it is open and sitting on the desk. Two drawbacks of this fan are it is loud and it is heavy. I had bought this to put in my purse, but the other fan that I have is lighter so I will use that one for my purse. If you don’t have strong fingernails, it’s very difficult to open. I have broken my nail while trying to open it. Leslie, I bought the blue fan, but this looks black to me. If they actually sent me a blue fan, their blue looks like what I would call a midnight blue. ... show more

I LOVE this little fan! It has nice power for when that pesky hot flash hits me right in the middle of church or at work. It has a little noise but nothing that is distracting or disturbing. I can hold it low enough that is not a distraction to anyone around me, but it still has enough power to give me the cooling effect on my face and neck. The blades are plastic and unprotected, but it doesn't hurt if you accidentally touch it while its running at full speed; because of this, I wouldn't recommend it for little kids (if they should need a fan...) Its compact in size so it stays in my purse along with the charger. The battery life is very good on this little fan, I charge it and its good for a few days. It has a light too, but I haven't needed it yet. It's pretty bright, so if I do need a flashlight, I'm sure it would work nicely. The only negative I have on this fan is the ease of opening it up to use, it can be a little hard to flip out and requires a strong fingernail or a pen cap to wedge it open. ... show more

I bought the navy fan for an outdoor summer wedding (navy color to match my dress) and kept using it all summer while on vacation abroad. It holds a long charge. Fan speeds are great. I like that it’s super compact and folds into just a little 5” pill shape. It’s great that it also can charge your phone if needed. It takes a little balancing to sit it on a table upright. Note: I would avoid getting the peach colored fan. It looks like you’re holding “something” near your face. ... show more
