I purchased this product to help extend the life of my cushions for my loveseat. The cushions are 6 years old and beginning to sag a little and this product did the trick. It is completely invisible under the cushions yet you can feel the firmness. It also improves your posture as your body does not sink into the cushions. This is firm support so if you are looking for a very soft feel after it is placed under your cushions this is not it, although as you sit on the cushions they will get a little softer but not much. We purchased a new sofa online about a year and a half ago because we needed one right away. It was expensive, looked very comfortable and got good reviews, so we took a chance. After a month or so it felt like an old saggy sofa, but it was too late to return it. Adding additional pads and pillows hasn't really helped. Although this doesn't completely fill the width of the base it is long enough from end to end and provides just the right amount of support.
