I am very pleased with this replacement screen. It’s easy to install and comes with all the tools you need. Even has a magnetic mat (with images of the phone and indicators where the screws are located) that you can use to place the screws you remove. Very helpful so you know where each screw goes when putting it back together. Most important thing is to take your time and follow the instruction video step by step. If you have a tray with sides, I would recommend doing this on the tray as the screws a very small and can easily be lost if dropped. Only negative comment is the brightness/colors of the replacement screen are not as good as the original iPhone screen. There is a very slight difference. ... show more

Everything about the screen is perfect IMHO. Touch works fine, clear display, fits perfect, awesome price and value. Take your time installing it. Make sure screws goes back into correct places. Be super careful on the home button/cable. It's a challenge to get it out of your old screen and put back into this one. Make sure home button is facing the right way (when you re-install) so you don't bend its cable the wrong way and break it. (Believe me, I know from experience. LOL). If you break it, you can replace it, but you will lose touchID. Also, you will be dealing with very very small screws. Get your reading glasses out if you need too. Many will need them. I followed the instructional video that was sent and it was reasonably easy to follow, however, upon completion, the screen did not work (it was a black/blank screen) and that made the installation a waste of time. I have worked on phones before so I don't believe it was an error of my own, I even tried reinstalling the screen replacement to make sure I did not have any loose connections but the outcome was the same: blank screen. I contacted customer support for a replacement and I have yet to hear back from them. Personally, I would recommend buying a different brand replacement screen because of the apparent lack of quality control from this manufacturer, save yourself some time and a headache by shelling out a few extra dollars for a screen that works. Update: Amazon sent me a replacement, with expedited shipping which was great. I installed the new screen and it works great, it has no lag, and Touch ID still works (I transferred my original home button over to the new screen). The color of the replacement screen is different from the old screen, it has a much warmer color opposed to the original screens bright white, it reminds me of my old screw on night shift; personally I don’t mind it but I would’ve preferred a brighter screen. Overall for 30 bucks and a few hours of elbow grease I got what I paid for, and I think it was worth both the time and money. ... show more

I never replaced an iphone screen before and I'm not tech savvy in the least but I wasn't going to the apple store or somewhere to spend $100 on a new screen. After searching diy videos for my i phone 8 plus I decided to go for it. I purchased this set and everything arrived in good condition and the added magnet mat for screws and the resources provided were great. I followed along with the diy video that was reccomend on the site and I replaced my broken i phone screen. My only complaint is the teasers were very cheap and the tips broke off when trying to wiggle off one of the connectors. Other than that I was very pleased with the outcome. For anyone on the fence on the trying to diy and replace your phone screen? Do it! You'll save yourself a ton of money. Just follow the instructions and wear some gloves to protect the components from grease on your hands and be very careful. If you break any connections that's gonna give you more work.😁 ... show more

I must admit I was skeptical that I could replace my cracked iPhone screen for just $30. The Apple store wants $150 and you have to make an appointment. Drive down to the store. Plus you are potentially handing over all of your personal information on your phone to a potential hacker. So with those concerns, I decided to try this option. I am handy fixing all kinds of things so that helps but the recommended Youtube video link that comes with your order confirmation email is very instructive. There are a lot of good tools that come with the screen and kit. It will make the job easier. Remember to power off you phone before installation. You will power the screen back up after you connect it and test it before you close the case. Remeber to power back down before you close/snap your phone back together. Take your time and watch the video before you start and watch while completing each step with good lighting. It doesn't take great skills to complete, patience and following directions is the key. Love the results and I feel the iPhone 6 screen is faster responding than the original.
