CORRECTION: Following my review below, my new hose arrived and as I removed the steel hose from the faucet to replace with the new hose, I realized that the leak was in fact coming from my faucet, not from the hose at all! With this error on my part, the steel hose is truly worthy of a -star review, and I am happy to keep it. *I should also note that the Besiter company very graciously offered to refund my purchase price, and while no refund was due me, their response made both the product and the company great in my eyes! I was initially skeptical of a steel hose, then really liked it; it's medium weight, drains quickly when you turn off the water, and NEVER kinks. Unfortunately, 7 weeks in to using it it sprang a leak - looks to be cracked near the faucet connection, which I think comes from stretching it out to it's full length. I need to replace it now and could just get a longer one, but I don't like the sprayer that comes with it; very cheap and doesn't have a good strong spray on the jet setting, so I'm going back to a plastic hose. ... show more

I do use the garden hose in my front yard and plan to buy a longer hose for my back yard because the 25 ft is not long enough. I have driven my car over the hose many times and it has been very durable. No problems with it. I love the maneuverability and light weight when watering and my dog is disinterested in it also. My dog loves to bite the rubber hoses but has demonstrated no interest in this one. I have to turn on the water lower then a rubber hose because the end moves up in the air with water pressure. However that is not a problem. It fits very nicely across the front entrance sidewalk crevice and has not been a tripping hazard because its so slim versus a rubber hose. I live in AZ and hoses don't survive here for very long. We purchased this hose to replace one that disintegrated from the sun and heat. It's a winner! It is light metal, does not kink, and so far after three months, it's doing great. I can easily wind it over a hose organizer. We love it.

The only thing that I wish is that it was bigger in diameter. It seems to restrict the water flow, since I am on city water. I bought it because I have a small farm and my Great Pyrenees like to destroy water hoses. I really appreciate that it is light weight since I have to drag it around and fill water buckets.
