... show more

  • Secret weapon for Vibe fans!
Style: Chorus Pattern Name: Pedals
I took a gamble on this, because I'm not actually a fan of the chorus effect. I know it has come back into fashion recently, but to me, it still evokes unpleasant memories of mullets and narrow leather ties. HOWEVER, it came to my attention that that all-important little switch that every 3 series pedal has, does something really interesting in this one, which is to basically turn it into a "Vibrato" effect! All it does is eliminate the original signal, leaving you with the the warble and up-and-down detuning that is meant to subtly enrich the signal in a "real" chorus sound. All by itself, this detuned signal needs to be handled with care, because it can go from "pleasantly tipsy" to "full on seasick" real quick. But with prudent use of the rate and depth knobs, you now have a hundred dollar pedal that does something very similar to a Boss VB-1. And those are no longer produced and therefore go for idiotic prices on the second hand market. The cheapest way to get one of those is either a Waza Craft version that will still set you back 260 bucks, or the knockoff by the German/Chinese manufacturer that makes those plastic stomp boxes we're all trying to avoid supporting. Of course, there is not as much control over the subtleties of the vibe effect here, and if you love Madison Cunningham so much you MUST have her exact sound, well, JHS has you covered in that event as well. But the "Artificial Blonde" is also around 250$! So this 3 series pedal is an affordable, fully satisfying solution, plus, if your mullet ever grows back, you can still do all that horrendous 80s stuff. Nice! ... show more

Fuzz Face tones and tweaks for hours! Or…just set the fuzz at full and adjust with your guitar volume and tones! Lots of fun in the 3 Series Fuzz! Shipped quick and arrived on time! Very happy 😃

  • Warm, dimensional, realistic, controllable
Style: Reverb Pattern Name: Pedals
It's been a long time since I started my search for something subtle to add dimension to the sound of my chromatic harmonica with SureSM-58. Too many trials and errors. Countless returns, resales, lost money and time. I've tried expensive pedals and consoles, cheap like Donner or not so cheap like TC-HELICON.. Or there where mostly bells, or mostly whistles.. or metallic like hitting rail with hummer. Finally I found what I was looking for - clean, airy trail of note, almost like light wind that wraps around you. And, what's very important, I'm finally in total control. Controls on this device are extremely intuitive. Just plug and enjoy.. Reverb dial functions like mix: wet/dry signal. Eq function is more like tone - soft and darkish or bright. And decay is just a decay. And every dial flawlessly uniform. If you are a guitar player, read reviews left by guitar players, but if you are planning to use it with microphone as a reverb for any other instrument (violin, trumpet, acoustic guitar or.. whatever) this JHS Series-3 reverb should make you happy. ... show more

  • Clear compression and well done!
Style: Compressor Pattern Name: Pedals
I bought it like a bet, to be used for amplified harmonica. The results were great, it gave body to Chicago sound, turning it to a fatter tone. Looks fine and it has a well weight.

  • JHS is the best
Style: Distortion Pattern Name: Pedals
Seriously, I dont mean to fanboy or anything, but no one makes better guitar petals than JHS. The quality, the tone, the versatility. He has a YouTube channel were he demos his own pedals as well as those of others. Just pick one at random and add it to your chain. You won't regret it. They might be pricey for most, but worth the investment. I'm slowly working towards a board full of them. Not even kidding. Highly recommend. ... show more
