The media could not be loaded. I run a Makerspace in my school and some really expensive U.S. made printers. This new 3D printer by JGAurora has continued to surprise me. I also own a JGAurora Prusa i3 which is also a great printer. However, the A5S version by JGAurora arrived to my door over 95% complete as the i3 arrived totally as a DIY kit requiring several days to build. In about 30 minutes after the package for the A5S arrived, I had the printer unpacked, built (only requiring the attachment of the base to the frame and the spool holder to the frame), and leveled. This JGAurora is extremely easy to set up and print. It arrived with blue painters tape and a new roll of PLA filament. It uses Cura software and is very easy to either print from an SD card or through the supplied USB cable. This printer is extremely stable with a steel base and frame. It has a bowden type extruder and a diamond glass heated bed which is an improvement over the previous models. The glass bed does not expand as much as an aluminum bed when heated and allows prints to better adhere to the print bed. While the printer does not auto-level, it's assisted leveling is easy and quick as the print head is automatically guided to five points on the bed and bed height is easily adjusted by four thumb screws. The 300+ x 300+ x 300+ cm print area is unsurpassed at this level of quality and price point. The company has phenomenal customer support and will personally take the time to assist with any problems. I highly recommend this printer for professionals and those new to printing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It arrived right on time (gotta love Amazon Prime), in only 2-days shipping. The sealed box was packed very well...lots of padding, everything secured and travelled safely. Next, I opened and removed the parts, piece-by-piece, going thru the parts list. Everything was labelled well and organized. I did find the printed "installation" guide a bit small for my 50-year old eyes to read easily, but they were good enough to get it assembled (and, as I found out later, the PDF included on the memory card was much easier to read). The toughest part of the assembly was tensioning the X-axis belt (my lovely wife lent me a 3rd hand). Well, the assembly took less than an hour, and after I double-checked everything, I plugged it in and powered it up! It came right on. The LCD is clear and bright, easy to read (and similar to some of the other 3D-printers I have), so I put it thru it's paces...checked out the X-axis, the Y-axis and the Z-axis. They all performed flawlessly, so I proceeded to level the print bed. The large wheels were easy to turn and I quickly had the level completed and was ready to proceed. I took some files I have to another printer (same bed size) and fired it up! The bed and nozzle quickly reached temperature, and it started printing. I did a quick tune-in to perfect the level and it went on it's way... The quality of the print was quite good...one of the best "out-of-the-box" experiences that I've had! (see the photos). After it completed, then I ran into the first (and only) complaint I have...the print had no problem sticking to the pad...in fact, it stuck TOO WELL! I could barely scrape it off!! In all fairness, I wish my other printers had a similar problem, but eventually I got it off and the resulting print was nice and smooth. The last photo shows the print after I pulled the supports off, but have done zero post-cleanup! I've switch the pad out for a piece of glass I had laying around (replacement for another printer), quickly re-leveled it and it's printing away on the next run. I love this printer, and since I print & sell a number of BoardGameXtras from my Etsy store, my printers are typically running 24/7, so I'm sure this will get a lot of use...if your slightly decent assembling things, you should have no problem putting this one together! Well, I'm pretty new to 3d printing. I convinced my boss to buy a RepRapGuru DIY printer which has taken weeks to setup. While doing this I decided to buy one of the Magic for at home. I had a prototyping project I wanted to make. First - This printer took only 2 hours to assemble. Secondly - the JGcreat software is incredible and easy to use. I use Tinkercad to draw stuff which took time to learn but I'm rolling with it now. Third - The print quality is amazing. Fourth - I can't believe this printer only costs $220!!!!! If you are looking to get into 3d Printing, I completely recommend this one. You won't regret it!!! One quick tip - I recommend only using Hatchbox Filament!! It has been flawless at home. I have a generic roll of white at work that I think is a problem. Also, all filament is humidity sensitive!!! ... show more
