The product it’s amazing, a little tricky for beginners Aka me, I made a mess and everything got worse and worse, I was nervous so first of all I was dragging the product on the nail DO NOT do that, use the slip solution and use a patting motion to mold the nail, pat pat pat that’s the key. Second, make sure you don’t spill the slip solution on a table because well, just see my picture. This is my very first attempt and u never even did pres din nails or nothing so im a greeny but it actually didn’t come out too bad. I’m sure with a little practice and more patience I will get beautiful nails on my second attempt. Overall te product is amazing but the human factor not so much 😂😂 ... show more

I absolutely love this stuff! The kit is a great starter kit. Has everything you need and is easy to use. The instructions were clear and simple with photos for reference. I've tried dip powder in the past and glue on nails but nothing compares to this poly gel stuff! It holds up great against water and daily wear. I love how easy it is to achieve a nice looking manicure for so cheap! I was expecting more of a learning curve but this way pretty simple in my opinion to use. This is my first time using poly gel. It was harder than it looked in the tutorials I've seen. It will get easier with more practice. This is a good beginner kit but I'll definitively invest in better products moving forward. Pros: Good light Cons: Gel bottles smaller than expected, nail forms are narrow causing the gel to be too thin on the sides & crack, not reaching the full side of my actual nail (picture 2 side of pointer nail). (I tried to go behind and add extra gel on the sides but it created a lot more work that could have been avoided if the nail forms were a bit wider). Also, no nail dehydrater was included. I am really pleased with this polygel nail kit! The uv light included is really dinky and I used one I already owned. I also used a nail dremel to shape the underside of my nails because they were messy and I needed to drill out a concave shape. With practice I’m confident this will get easier, my second hand came out much better than the first! Don’t stress if you get gel on the cuticle. I found it neater to just cure with the extra gel and just gently pry off the excess. I hope these last! ... show more

First time using polymer as I was sick of acrylic fumes…I had no clue what I was doing but simple glance at instructions and the photos are what I got first time out… very fun easy way to get strong nails that don’t lift. One week in no lifting. No chemical stink and best of all no mess!!! Highly recommend this kit because it’s all there, the poly is good quality, thick and manageable and quick curing! i was really hoping that this would be an easy solution for my short stubby nails but it unfortunately wasn’t. you do get everything pictured but i think you may need a rotary nail file to get the extension to stay in place for more than a day. it was also super messy and left a lot of sticky spots around my house unfortunately. the uv lamp also kinda sucks and doesn’t want to stay standing, so that plays a huge role too. definitely worth it to get a better set than this and also an ELECTRIC nail file to really roughen up the nails to get this stuff to stick for a few days at least. ... show more

i used poly gel one other time, had no idea what i was doing and gave up- decided to try again and bought this kit. It’s super cheap, i wasn’t losing much if it turned out to be bad quality BUT!!!! these things are actually AMAZING I was super gentle the first day because i didn’t know what to expect but today i went ham and was gardening, moving stones and digging- not a chip or a break. 100000% recommend The tools it comes with at all really good quality too, the cuticle pusher it came with is probably the best one i’ve ever had the only reason i gave this 4 stars is because the lamp didn’t work- i always recommend getting a stronger lamp anyway just because it makes the process quicker ... show more
