  • I'm speechless
Size: Ender 3 V3 KE
I've been doing 3D printer for 8 years. Been rocking a prusa mk2s for most of that. This was my second upgrade. My first being an ender 3 that was cheap, but not super easy to use. This printer however has blown me away. How much faster it is than anything else at this price point. How well the bed leveling and offset work. Most the problems you'll see on printers is getting that first layer down good. I've yet to have to calibrate this thing at all. Everything just sticks. Just make sure it does the auto calibration while the bed is hot. The edges of the bed curl ever so slightly, I did have a particularly hard to print part detach on the edge but redoing auto calibration while the bed was hot solved it. I never have to physically move media over to this thing. You can upload files to it from the web interface. Make sure to switch it from 220 to 120 on the psu or it will shut off during setup while heating. Ask me how I know. Great machine for the price. I've been recommending it to everyone looking to get started in the field of 3D printing. ... show more

  • Great beginner machine
Size: Ender 3 V3 KE
It works right out of the box. A great machine to start the hobby with. Take your time and learn the ins and outs of FDM printing then the sky's the limit.

  • Amazing Unit for the Price. Assembly Instructions Not So Great.
Size: Ender 3 V3 SE 3d printer
I've owned a number of 3D printers over the years, but have mostly been printing with resin printers and haven't owned a filament printer in several years. I had a project that a FDM printer was a better choice for, so I went looking for inexpensive options, and this was the option that many people recommended for a low-price unit. The good: Once you get it assembled, calibrated, and your settings dialed in, it's a really good printer, especially for the price. The quality is at least as good as my last printer (Ultimaker III) which cost like 10x as much a few years ago. The bad: The assembly instructions are... lacking. They're very cursory, don't make you aware of the many gotchas you're likely to hit. Very minor things that aren't mentioned can cause problems. The first time I assembled the unit, I couldn't get the gantry level. After trying everything I found online, I just took it completely apart and re-assembled it, and the second time, it was level. I would strongly recommend watching some assembly videos before you start the process. Make yourself aware of the gotchas and potential problems and get more detailed information about how the unit goes together. The Okay: Be aware that this is a low-end unit. It doesn't have some of the quality-of-life features that more expensive units have, such as auto-plate leveling. None of these things will prevent you from getting excellent quality prints with a little effort, but do mean you'll probably invest more time and experience more frustration before getting good quality prints. The Bottom Line: It's a great unit for the price, but it's a kit that requires assembly from parts, and the instructions leave much to be desired. If you're not comfortable with DYI and experimentation, you might want to spend a little more on a unit that comes pre-assembled and has features like auto-plate-leveling. If you don't mind putting in the time and dealing with a little frustration, though, this is an absolutely great value. ... show more

  • Great for beginners
Size: Ender 3 V3 SE 3d printer
I bought this on a whim cause the price was right and I was interested In 3d printing. I also bought the cr touch at same time which makes level the bed easy. Out the box it worked well but with minor upgrades the prints are perfect I did bed spring Capricorn Boden tube metal extruder and printed a side mount spool holder and roller so it has a direct feed into extruder. I’ve also did firmware update and interface update which either the rc touch made fine tuning amazing. The only issues I’ve had with it were issue created by me and my inexperience or somthing I didn’t install correctly ... show more

  • Good starter

Fun to build, works beautifully, excellent print quality for a 200$ printer. Don’t forget you will need free cad or autodesk to design your own products. Otherwise you will have to download all print files from others.
