I use my ebike For commuting and sometimes I have to leave it in places without an area to lock your bike to. This bike alarm is an excellent deterrent. it is very loud and someone so much as bumps into it on the highest sensitivity setting it'll let out a warning, and if they continue to touch it it will just go off continuously until you disable it. I can't tell you how many times this got people who are curious about my bike or lean against it etc. It definitely scares them off. Really easy to install, and the remote works great. I've even set my alarm from inside my home before when I forgot. The sensitivity can be adjusted so if you don't want it to go off by being slightly tapped. That can be changed. Surprisingly loud, works as intended. However, when setting the alarm, it will randomly give two short, loud buzzes every 30 to 40 minutes for no apparent reason. I am handicapped and rely heavily on my indoor and outdoor mobility scooters. Recently, a strange person attempted to remove my mobility scooter from my back porch and luckily I caught them. As you may know, these scooters are very expensive and sadly all the keys are the same! In either case, I saw these bike alarms on Amazon and thought it might just work to thwart scooter thieves too. The alarm comes with double-sided tape and two zip ties for mounting the main unit. I was able to mount the unit on the back cross brace of my seat quite easily. The unit needed to be setup for my application, as strong winds were setting the alarm off. Setting the sensitivity and volume are simple procedures and took only a few minutes. I feel confident this little alarm will protect my scooter quite well. Only time will tell how durable the unit is, but I can easily recommend this alarm to others. ... show more

I really want this to work but I am not fluent in gibberish. I know that some meanings get lost in translation but I'm still not sure if it is working correctly. I've heard probably 10 different sounds but not sure if they are accomplishing anything. I wanted to adjust to sensitivity and after it went through it's mockingbird impersonation, I am still wondering. Does quieter tone mean more sensitive or less sensitive? Is the lightning bolt a panic alarm? What is the bell symbol? Lock and unlock are fairly easy to figure out but that's about it. Update 8/8/24 I found instructions online from another manufacturer (same product) which were written in proper English. Very easy to understand and program now. This alarm is a great idea to try and scare of anyone who might be trying to steal a bike. Is very sturdy. Easy and fast to mount as well. In my opinion this is helpeful for younger children trying to find their bike after school. It works great as it's loud.
