I didn't want to do this but I feel compelled to after having tried to make the best of a bad situation over a period of about six months wherein this machine disassembled itself. The seller refused to refund. Amazon refused to refund. I'm considering filing a complaint with the Consumer Safety Bureau because the crushing plates won't stay in place and the rear one has flown out twice and once hit my husband's hand. First of all, the motor is not made for North American electrical standards and it doesn't come with a plug. After a couple of weeks of research and talking to an electrician, we put a plug on that worked. This wasn't mentioned in the product description and after 300.00 dollars in shipping and handling costs. NONE of the bolts or screws have lock washers and, after repeatedly tightening, one came out leading to damage to a bracket inside the chute that the ore is fed into. Debris kept jamming behind the bent bracket and became a constant problem. Next, the adjustment knob for how fine rocks are crushed sheared. I went back and forth with the seller and finally agreed to a partial refund at that point and they sent us a new knob. Next, the crushing plates began to come loose and detach completely. We tried everything to keep the bolts tight to no avail. The plates will NOT stay in. The rear plate came out of the crusher at a pretty high speed. After dealing with the seller and Amazon denying us a refund of the balance - 700.00 - we have a 250 pound paperweight. ... show more

    • You’ll be sorry…..most expensive paper weight I ever bought.
No instructions. No spec plate on motor. Needed a licensed electrician to figure out how to wire it. Upon use, for crushing brick fragments, the jaw plate came off within an hour. Many of the bolts and their respective lock washers repeatedly came loose causing various components to come loose and jam the machine. The size adjuster knob complex kept coming out of the grooves meant to hold it in. Tried to retighten the bolt that locks it in place, shearing it off. The machine is built so there can be no access to remove this sheared end. Finally, the motor burnt out and now I have an excellent paperweight. ... show more
