    • Avoid Exchange Nightmares

The cannisters don't seem to last very long and the exchange process has been nightmarish. The only part of the process that works reliably is Amazon's delivery. You can pretty much count on the USPS to lose the cannisters and for Sodastream to not process your return most of the time. I have submitted USPS missing mail search requests multiple times only to get a delayed response saying they couldn't find it which means no $15 gift card rebate each time that happens. If the package gets delivered successfully, then you have the hassle of submitting a Sodastream support ticket to get your rebate. At least, Sodastream support will actually help with these requests but it's a hassle. ... show more

    • Mostly OK... but 1 bottle died after 4L... nowhere near predicted 60L!!

In general, I'd say these are pretty cool tanks. It's good to have a couple SPARE on hand. But one of the tanks was a real disappointment! It came SEALED and with a CAP as expected, but when I removed the seal and the cap and put it into operation, it quite literallly produced FOUR LITERS of bubbles, and then it was totally exhausted. Wow! That was a super surprise, and a very expensive 4L of water. I have no way of knowing WHY we only were able to get 4L out of this one, but its predecessor and one that followed, had no issues... we got plenty of bubbles out of them. Maybe one was just not filled correctly, or it had an undetected leak? When they work: Great C02 Carbonators! ... show more
