My sister works for a "non-profit" gym to teach kids gymnastics. Gymnastics is typically a middle class or "preschool first child" type sport because it can be expensive. My sister discovered them and started taking her kids and eventually began teaching and took my kids. So, while I can't afford a full payment (that's why it is non profit, no child turned away) But once a month, I try to meet a small need, even though my kids can't join with the covid rules in place. This month, my sister said the biggest need was the ice cold and slippery floor where the little ones jump down to put on shoes ... and mom is outside and cannot help. The little ones wear socks, and it is slippery. So, I got a no slip pad and a runner carpet. While we got the wrong size carpet ... the no slip pad is perfect! This is the standard "no slip" stuff that has been sold for years and years. It was the perfect size and thickness to secure that carpet so the little ones didn't slip and hit their heads. We have a rug on a tile floor that was always slipping around. We bought this pad to keep the rug in place. The pad is an improvement, but not as grippy as we hoped, still slides around some.
