Every hose that I've ordered hasn't lasted very long. Maybe 6 months up to a year. I use it on my wood deck where my garden surrounds it, and invariably the hose develops a hole in it and ends up in the garbage. I'm hoping this turns out different. I like this hose with the shut off valve and ease of handling. It has good water pressure and came with an excellent nozzle allowing quite a few choices of watering. I'm hoping this one lasts.     • Extra hose for light watering
I really liked this garden hose. It has a nice feel and the brass connectors also seem to be good quality. The on/off knob was easy to use. It was easy to stretch out and the flow from the green spray head was very good. My only disappointment was that I could only use it with my sprinkler if it was very close to my house. It was not possible to stretch the hose to 50 ft unless it was turned on. At 16 ft I could only water a small distance. However it was great when used with the supplied sprayer. This is our third shrink hose. My husband insisted we buy rubber hose’s because they don’t kink (lol). After about a year he asked me to buy another shrink hose because the rubber hoses are crap. These are light weight and convenient to put away. They usually last about three years. I did once buy the warranty and that was a waste of money, because the company wouldn’t honor it. ... show more

So far I really like this hose. It is lightweight and does not tangle. It shrinks enough store it easily without having to hang it up on the side of the house. Hopefully it will last long. Time will tell.

    • Lightweight Easy to Use
I’ve used the hoses a few times now. This hose is so much easier to manage than a traditional hose. It expands in length when you turn it on but then retracts much shorter as you drain it making it much easier to roll up (and much lighter!) and store. I don’t think I would buy any traditional hoses anymore. Wish the sprayer was heavy duty and not made out of plastic. We’ll see how it holds up. ... show more

I've only had this hose for a day, so I can't testify to its long-term durability. But I can tell you the picture is deceptive. It looks like the hose takes up a lot of space all stacked up and coiled upon itself. In fact, when there is no water (pressure) in the hose it shrinks up so small that the whole thing AND the spray nozzle fits into a little net bag. The flexibility and the lack of kinking is exactly what all hoses aspire to be. Why anyone would buy an old-style rigid hose is a mystery. ... show more

    • Easy to carry
I purchased this hose as a replacement for an old, heavy and leaking one. This hose was very easy to screw in together, comes with spare rubber gaskets and is very lightweight. It looks shorter than 50 ft at first, but expands to 50 once the water has been turned on.

    • Retractable garden hose works as described.
Product arrived quickly and as described. I like that it came with sprayer and storage bag. As for durability, I typically don't have any issues for about 2-3 years with this type of hose. Time will tell with this particular model.
