  • "Toggle-Licious"!!
Man, LOVE that Toggle Switch...and the Pop-Up Volume Knob (UP for Passive and DOWN/LEVEL for Active---BOY, ain't it ACTIVE!!). Like I said, the ONE Volume (Pop-Up..because), and 1 Tone. Now, those 3 Buttons on the outside are "Tone Equalizers", TOP BUTTON is Deep Tone, MIDDLE BUTTON is Mid-Range Tone, and BOTTOM BUTTON is High Tone. 24 "dangerous" Frets--for those who like to "weaponize" (if you CATCH me!!), 5 Strings of "Lawd Have Mercy", PASSIVE/ACTIVE Soap-Bar Bridge and Neck Pickups (requires a 9-Volt battery), and that COSMIC Coloring (I got the PURPLE HAZE, but there's also an ALIEN GREEN, and I think a BLUE SAPPHIRE). The fact that this is JACKSON--known for their Concert Axes--and "Priced To Go" (like, what, "4 or 5 Bucks", tops! [$400-$500]), but not shamming at all on the quality--this says an awful lot. Give the Masses great Axes that won't Financially Bust Their As--I was saying, I LOVE THIS Beauty. It's "Toggle-Licious", because I've never done a bass with a Toggle Switch before, so if I WAS, then give me one with all the goodies....like this Jackson. 5 Stars. ... show more

  • Extremely nice bass
I love the active and passive volume option and the bass, mid and treb adjustments. Two different pickups are easy to use. I have recommended this to other and would recommend for everyone.

  • Great Bass with a few issues
I love the Bass the color is beautiful, the sound is amazing, and I love the fact I can go from active to passive pickups with the flick of a switch. That being said, I do have an issue or two first and foremost is that for a $400 bass I expected it to be at least somewhat set up straight out of the gate another issue is that the hex screws on the saddle where so small it was really hard to get a hex wrench that fit the last one is just a gripe not an issue with the Bass that being that for the price it would have been nice if it had come with a gig bag. All in all the Bass is worth the money but take it to a shop for a proper set up if you don't have every hex wrench known to man. ... show more
