Ok self professed Fender purist here, lol. Ye-o0OO where did this Co. come from right. Listen moms dads ( anybody who jams ) your kid needs a guitar JUMP on this and hit e-bay for a used 10 watt Fender Frontman. Ok I bought 3, 1 had issues which were quite easy fixes, but I needed to see what the hype was about and wanted to pull one out of the box plug and play lol. So sent it back, reorder. The next one was just that plug and play, I couldn't believe it, a guitar this inexpensive was so fun to jam with. I was so impressed I wanted to see if they could do it again and BAM next one just as smooth as the previous. I then bought the other models that were on Amazon 4 or 5 just to see if the LP was their "fluke". BUT NO all instruments were extremely nice. Ya know I ordered the Tele's, the Songbird or Trapeze model and the prs model. BUT back to the LP because this is it's page. Now lets get all the nit picking bull* out the way. I've been building amps, pedals, guitars, since the early 80's and I am gonna tell ya there is nothing you have to do with this gitter once received. I here people talking about tuners pups and this that wha wha wha. BULL#@#@, the two I have stay in tune for years (ya know what I mean). And I play them everyday, the pups are great no need to mess with them 14k B - 8k N or so thats what I get when I checked. And they sound good no microphonics or major tech prob. The NECK, oh lord what a pleasure to play, I believe 14'' radius or so slim D profile and fret board is nice wood frets are all installed correctly though I did have to smack one down and ofcourse ya know they need a polishhh lol. Oiled after with my old stand by tried and true Old English wood furniture treatment ( basically lemon oil but cheap for a big bottle ). And kids don't soak your neck with a gallon of oil a small bit goes a long way plus not often but on occasion it could lead to a loose fret. Finish with a fresh set of Ernie Ball Slinky's and BAM you're all set for a few. Ok now ya got the snobs asking about pots, electronics, structure, bla bla bla. Yes they're dime size pots and an enclosed 3 way toggle. No push back wire. But all performs as should I jammed with a band for many years and I'll tell ya I would use this LP in a heartbeat. And after tearing 1 apart it does seem pretty solid, I did post some pics. Ya know the first guitar I bought with my money many years ago was a Blond 76 Strat AM "used", that I bought from the studio I took lessons at and it cost me $365.00. Even that guitar needed some help very little though, but it was five years old. And my teacher was an old Italian guy who could play any instrument read all types of music a true trained professional musician and luthier was the man that pointed out these problems and proceeded to teach me how to remedy said problems which led me down the road to the trade of Luthier. Enough back to this guitar !!! Lets talk about the finish, LMFAO, if you're gonna judge a piece because of few blems PA-LEASE lol. What would compel ya to cry about stain bleeding and and cosmetic parts that don't have any bearing on the playability of said piece. For $200 bucks c-mon it's not a 59 Gib we all get that. I've taken one of mine apart and sure it's a bit rough, but damn I wasn't surprised or shocked by what was there. Sure it may not be on par with a LP copy from somewhere like Texas Toast, but ya only paid $150.00 for it !!! Correct ??? Bottom line at a time when beef is costing 10 to 15 bucks a pound it's nice to find something that will keep your mind off your troubles for awhile and you didn't mortgage the house to do it. Yea I'd tell my friends to buy one of these. WHY !!! Because it's fun,,, ok....✌ ... show more

OK this will be about the guitar only, NOT the (poor boxing, or tore up boxes and missing parts) So let talk about the guitar. The one I got had a few flaws in the finish but keep this one. I know people say that the body is hollow inside. Mine was either blocked or total solid body. The set up was pretty good from the company, tuners seem to work fine. What I did change was the pickup pups to Invader style, from Amazon and put a set of DR Strings Hi-DEF Neon Green (NGE-10) and added a new Cheap Trick style leather strap. That's it and this baby Rock. I'm more of a Pro Bass player but in the studio it's nice to have guitars you don't have to worry about getting dented up from people needing one to play. I had my guitar player playing Some 80's metal music and this thing sounded way better then his 1800.00 dollar ax. We just had to set up the gapping on the pickups a bit and that was it. I'm still going to go thru a pro set up when I have time but it's a great stage guitar or for recording. The only thing is it's kind of hit or mess with the shipping boxes being so thing they do tend to get damaged all the time, and sometime there are some dust in the finish. People do get perfect ones I know, just not me. But for the price I don't care, it's still a looker 12 inches away. Great little guitar that can give the goods done up right. The stock pickups were so so, not super bad but not pro sounding in my book. My Mesa Boogie tube and did not care for them mush. Took them out before I tried them my my Fractal Axe-FX 2 XL modeling preamp. Give it a shot you might just like them, not for everyone, oh also it fells like a C shaped neck, I like Fender style guitars for that C shape neck. The neck is fast. ... show more

Warning: I am not one of these review guys that has been playing 40 yrs and have 6 Gibson Les Pauls to compare it to. I'm a guy that's just getting back into playing and I'm trash at best. I have a little experience setting up guitars and what's needed to make them playable. My IYV was bought as a return model, so I'll overlook the scratch on the side of the neck. I figured something would be wrong since it was considered used for 147, so I'm not including that in my rating. What I did receive was a beautiful guitar. The color is a little darker, more Emerald Green, in natural light than the picture, where it looks like Kelly Green, so don't be surprised if it's not spot on, depending on your lighting situation. I actually prefer the difference, so for me, it was a non-issue. The frets had no issues. Whomever did the fret work was spot on and it was totally smooth up the neck on both sides. The action was also set nicely and I didn't have to adjust a thing, except tune it up. The neck is extremely comfortable. I have smaller hands and it felt natural to hold, even coming from a Strat clone. People have called it heavy. It's about the weight of my Strat clone. I would say it feels 'solid'. It's wood. It's supposed to weigh something, but it's not uncomfortable. The paint and finish were well done. No cosmetic issues. The only thing I did notice was the scratched up pick guard, that looked like someone was enthusiastic during testing. It didn't detract me from wanting the guitar. if I NEED a perfect pick guard, they are like $7. I run the guitar through a 20 w Donner amp. The pickups are really nice for what they are and I can be happy with them for the time being. I also understand the people that swap them out, but it's not needed to have a quality sound. Overall, this was an awesome guitar for the price (8/7/22 it's going for $177). it's well worth what they are asking, especially if it's your first decent guitar or you're tight on cash. ... show more
