ISTOYO Rechargeable Resin Mixer Ultra is a total game changer for resin mixing. I’ve used it four times now and I’m thoroughly pleased that something actually works as the manufacturer says. The AI function is a fancy way of saying four minute timer with directional changes (clockwise/counter clockwise). Love that function as I’m able to do other things while the mixing happens. Each batch mixed had less bubbles than any other mixer or hand mixing for that matter. Somehow it’s a lot cleaner, less resin getting on my gloves. I suppose that’s because I’m not hand mixing so I’m not accidentally dripping resin everywhere. I highly recommend this product. Worth the very reasonable investment! ... show more

The three speed and AI functions on this mixer add to the joy of using it. It creates no bubbles while mixing even when using the highest speed. The AI function when using the mixer stand, allows me to prepare my next batch of resin while knowing the current batch will mix for the full four minutes that I want. Purchased on Apr 8, 2024. Today is 7/20/24 and it won't charge. Used only 5 times. Worked great but now can no longer use. Very disappointed. UPDATE: Istoyo saw my review and they replaced it! I hope this one lasts, however, kudos to ISTYO for caring about their customers.

    • Stops working after less than a week of use
I was very excited to try this resin mixer, and also bought the bubble popper by the same brand as a package deal. Unfortunately now I have 2 items to return as both did not work as advertised. The resin mixer runs for less than 10 seconds at a time and shuts off. At first it looked like the battery needed a charge, but this issue continues even after an entire overnight of charging and while the charger is still attached to the mixer. So the issue is not the battery, although it would be nice to be able to see the battery life to confirm. The paddles are also plastic and not silicone, so they're a pain to clean. Overall, this is a bad product with a terrible design. I'm extremely disappointed in this mixer and am returning it. ... show more

    • Loving the Istoyo Rechargeable Mixer Ultra
The media could not be loaded. This mixer is outstanding👏! Although it may be a hand mixer, it performs with excellence! When you long press the power button for 2 seconds the mixer will turn on and a beep notifies you as well. You can single press the power button to alternate between the 3 speeds offered, or press the reverse/forward button in the middle to change the paddle direction. The last button, AI mode is my fave and what the video demonstrates. You power on the mixer and then press your AI button to begin automatic mode and let it go for the full 4 mins. The stand is a lifesaver, very easy to put together with just 1 screw and the mixer is now hands free 🙌 Definitely the Istoyo Resin Mixer Ultra is a quality product!! ... show more

    • Stand is useless
This mixer mixes well when hand held. It’s easy to use and to clean. The stand is useless because the cup spins so nothing gets mixed. So for that reason, it’s a bit pricy for the quality. Might be better off with another brand.

I love this little workhorse for mixing resin! I've mixed up to 6oz with it. As long as you put the paddle in the cup and let it do it's job and don't mess with it, there are virtually no bubbles when it's done. I recommend scraping the sides and the bottom of the cup after you mix with the paddle to make sure there are no unmixed spots. If you've mixed a lot of resin, you know those popsicle sticks make your hands really hurt after a while. With this awesome cordless mixer by Istoyo, there's not more of that...
