The media could not be loaded. My wife and I are intrigued by the capability of electric bikes and scooters. We currently own 2 e-bikes and 2 scooters at home and we love the convenience it offers for the local commute and a great companion during the trips when we carry in our car. This is 3rd scooter for us but it is one of the unique kind and high tech too. We are impressed by this scooter for sure but there are definitely some cons that need to be considered before getting this. My detailed comments are below after using it for a week and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an e-scooter in this form factor & price range. My 2 cents are below: Pros: - This scooter ride is very smooth overall on the plain terrain - Has a maximum speed of around 18.6 MPH. I am not sure about you but riding a scooter over 15MPH is something my wife and I both don't prefer for safety reasons and hence it delivers as per our needs. It has a 350W high-power motor and immediately catches the speed on pressing the trigger - Ride modes can be changed via the app too - Great build quality overall - The mobile app is one of the key highlights for this scooter. Connects easily and has tons of features/control to explore. Seeing scooter statistics is a nice feature (Picture attached) - Digital HD led display is very fancy and intuitive - Brake in both from and rear wheels worked great overall for sudden and usual brakes while riding it - The platform has a non-skid rubber coating making it easy to get a grip while riding - Single button control makes it easy to operate (Single/Double/Triple clicks changes everything) - Headlight LEDs are bright enough for night rides as well. We usually tend to ride in the evening or when it is about to get dark and hence we liked this - Taillight is battery operated too and works with the brake to make it easier to ride in the dark - Overall this e-scooter looks fancy and targets youth customers. It would be a great choice for anyone in the '20s-30s - 8.5'' tires have good grip overall and we did not feel it skidding as if now - Great build quality and structure feels very strong from any angle - It is easy to charge with the access point in a nice area. It charged from zero to full in around 5 hours and I found it to be true to what the manufacturer claims - Comes very well packed and there was no damage at all - Scooter comes in big packaging with most of the assembly already in place. Just had to fit some parts and screw them up. It was overall an easy assembly and the scooter was ready to use in less than 5 minutes - Detailed manual provided and should cover any question you may have during use - Manufacturer offers a 1-year warranty on the scooter (however battery has 6 months warranty only) - Very reasonably priced in this category of product and it is a bank for the bucks considering the looks of these - Scooter is foldable making it portable to carry around Cons: - 17 miles of range is not the best in the competition even in the 350W motor category. My other scooter tends to give a 22-23 miles range with a similar capacity motor. The battery is 7.5Ah in this compared to 10Ah in my other scooter - This scooter is only meant for city plain terrain. It can handle up to 20 degree upward slopes but that is not practical in the real world - Display visibility is not very great in sunlight and it gets difficult to read sometimes - Why manual horn in an e-scooter? I would prefer a digital one - The display shows up 3 modes ideally but only the Economy and Sport modes are functional even with the mobile app. There is no way to change to drive (D) mode ... show more

The battery capacity is the biggest strength of this bike. My friends own ebike from segway but its battery quality quickly declines over time and doesn’t stand a chance against isinwheel’s battery quality. Its top speed is pretty good and the motor power does not degrade over time. It’s quite easy to assemble and very comfortable to fold and carry. Speed is alright. It’ll go about 19-20…on perfectly flat roads, as long as you don’t weigh above 200lbs. With zero bumps, no cracks, no wind, no hills of any grade, if you’re not carrying anything, no resistance of any kind. Average is really about 10-12, 15 if you’re really lucky. It boasts a 22mi range, that’s overly generous. You can MAYBE get 22mi on one charge if you’re perfectly flat, with zero resistance, don’t go above 10mph, don’t ever stop, and don’t weigh over 150lbs. Real world range is about 11-12 miles. And that’s with regular foot assist. Brakes are actually pretty good. You won’t stop on a dime unless you weigh next to nothing but at speed it stops me within about 3-4ft. Build quality is pretty damn sturdy. That and the brakes are why I gave it two stars. Otherwise I would have given it 1. I’d give it zero if I could. The biggest reason is because like every other ISINWHEEL product I’ve had, the damn motor died out within 3-4 months. I’ve had one of their skate boards as a gift, motor went out. I bought the V8 longboard, motor went out. Bought this thing, thinking maybe it was a board issue so I’d switch products. Nope damn motor went out. Never touching another ISINWHEEL product again. Save your money and get something better like a Varla, Inmotion, etc. ... show more

Edit: the company contacted me and offered a new battery and they seem to be collaborative. I will keep the review updated and mention if the problem was solved. I have a long commute (about 10 miles), and I thought a full charge would be more than enough. Surprisingly it only went for 12 km (about 7.5 miles) not 27 km (17Miles) as the page claimed, and I had to walk home with the scooter for 2.5 miles. The battery is a joke, it kept going up and down by a margin of 20-30%. It also took 4 hours to charge 50% when I got it out of the box. After doing a quick test when I got it and also when I locked it for about two hours, it drained from 79% to 50%. The lighting is also so poor. The scooter is good and comfy but the battery makes it an absolute joke. Btw, I only had it for a day. Overall, even though I bought it for $290, it did not meet my expectations and I did not have high ones to begin with. ... show more

This is by far a strong, quick scooter. We purchased the Max a couple months ago and my wife weighs over 100 but under 150lbs (she will hurt me if I tell) and we have put 65 miles on the scooter and the battery doesn't need to ve charged every day, the scooter definitely goes 18mph even with half a charge and my 240lb body on it and does not struggle going uphill (with her on it) I bought the isinwheel GT2 for myself and am so happy. We ride all the time and glad we took time doing our research on these things and scooter companies (very important). Isinwheel has a website (where I bought the GT2) and great customer service!!
