The app is very useful......very straight forward and helps you to access your scooter and its options very quickly and in a simplest way. The case that comes with the scooter is very useful. Plus the scooter has a USB port that gives you a chance to charge your phone or other devices during a long ride. Bought it for my 10 year old who loves it. I bought this scooter for my college commute from my apartment. I've been using it almost everyday for about a month and it works great. The speed goes up to 19mph and it is very light and compact compared to other electric scooters. This scooter is also affordable, as it goes faster than other scooter brands and is also cheaper. The app is a little hard to use and finnicky. At first, I didn't like the cruise control and it would make a loud beeping noise when staying at the same speed for more than 3 seconds. I went on the app to try to turn it off but it took a few tries for it to actually work. As for the battery life, it works pretty well for me. I personally charge it every other day when it gets to about 50% battery because I'm worried about the battery running low when I am on campus. We were looking to find a scooter that was not overprices, but also worked well for my son as he needed a means to move around in college from apartments to classes, he was spending 25 to 30 min walks. This scooter was not only very affordable but very well constructed, with enough speed and weight capacity to accommodate a 6'3'' and 230 pond body. He has enjoyed a lot and so far after 9 months is still going strong with no major issues with battery or parts. He does have an AirTag installed inside and good luck to prevent theft on it. The scooter ir very sturdy and well made, wheels so far are in great shape and range of distance for him has been great, probably charge it once a week, he is able to use it most of the week with no trouble. I quickly contacted isin wheel customer service and notified them that my scooter had stopped functioning. They were very helpful and walked me through the process. I got the s9 max with the seat and was super stressed because when I got the package all I received was the scooter and amazon's customer support had no idea what I was talking about. I ended up getting in contact with the manufacturer who quickly let me know that the seat shipped separately because of the weight. It came in about 4 or 5 days after the scooter itself did. The detachable seat was what sold me on this scooter because I like being able to ride it both ways (and yes if your balance is fairly good you can stand on it with the seat still attached). Although, the s9 max is like half a centimeter too wide for the bolts that the seat attachment comes with, so I had to go buy longer ones, but that wasn't really a big deal. Just so you're aware though. It definitely wasn't inconvenient enough for me to take a star off. The bike being as cool as it is outweighs it too. You can control some of its features with the app isinwheel has, and also lock it from moving/makes it sound an alarm so it can't be easily stolen (I assume this is used alongside a bike lock). It can easily reach 15 mph with me (who's ~185lbs) and I'm sure it could go a bit faster but I normally don't feel the need to. I've never had trouble with inclines either, but I haven't tried any true hills with it yet. The light is bright enough too I feel comfortable riding it around at night. I'm really glad I bought it so far, I ride it everywhere I would a bike but get places about 2x faster. I hurt my left foot a few months back so I can't walk as far as I used to and it's bummed me out so ive been very happy to have this scooter around. ... show more
