Review is for the: "iSANMATE 3D Printer Filament, PLA Filament Glow in The Dark, 1.75mm Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.03 mm, 1 kg Spool" As with most any filament from the factory... it works best when dried for 10+ hours. Many people report how brittle this filament is & yes, wet filament is brittle. So, dry it first. Then it will work well. I have had great prints with the Glow filament. After charging off a Bright light for 20 minutes, it will last for a few hours. Thicker prints works best of course, as there is more product to glow. Good detail can be printed with this. Important to have the settings correct, as the Glow is actually a PLA+ which melts at a higher temp than PLA. Appears to be a bit stronger than PLA, but not like a CF or PETG. I would purchase again. I've purchased 3 different gradient colors from iSANMANTE. I really like the way it looks and the way it prints. My prints always come out flawlessly. I see a lot of reviews saying this isn't good quality or that it clogs or cant be used with this or that. Well, I have never had a clog with any iSANMATE filament. I always use it in conjunction with a filament dryer, especially if I've had it open for a few months, and I never have any issues with it softening like one reviewer claimed. Someone else says to not use this if you have a Bambu Labs printer. I have a P1S and it works great, even when I just use the spool hanger on the back of the printer. If you are having issues with this filament, MAYBE you got a bad batch, but I think people need to check their printer and slicer settings. There are a lot of variables that can cause prints to fail. If you see some iSANMATE filament that looks really cool and pretty, then try it out! It's a filament that performs great and looks even better. ... show more

I have tried to make 5 different projects now and all have failed in some form or another. I increased the temperature of my bed, some improvement but 3/4 of the way from completion it broke away from the bed. I tried to up the temperature of the nozzle and got very bad results. At this point I think this purchase was a total bust. Regardless of what I do I can’t get good results. Also, the glow in the dark colors are just not very bright and the “multicolor” is just green. Edit: The sales rep from the company reached out and inquired about the issues I was having. After explaining it to them they concluded I had been sent defective product and rushed me some new product. I received the replacement and also read other reviews of the products and made the required adjustments on my printer. The performance was greatly improved. The multicolor is still not very “multi” but I greatly improved my botched print rate, from 100% to about 20%, which is not horrible. I ended up increasing my table temperature by 10 degrees F and my nozzle by 5. My updated rating reflects the incredible customer service (5 stars) with my rating of the product overall (3 stars). I would buy more products from ISANMATE, just not this particular one. ... show more

    • Too thick for my bowden tube.

Unfortunately I am not able to print with this filament on the Ender 3 V2. With every print the filament jams up after a couple of layers, running at a temperature of 230 degrees Celsius. I've contemplated whether higher heat might be necessary for this PLA based filament, but it really doesn't seem to be the issue in the case of my consistent jams with this product. The very tight fitting in the bowden tube seems to be the culprit, and I should also note that jams are not an issue at all for me with PETG and other PLA brands. I run PETG and PLA with no such issues and the filament glides through the bowden tube with zero resistance with other filament brands I use. Glow in the dark and silk filaments are notably more tricky to print with, but not because of filament diameter issues. When I get new batteries for my micrometer I will measure the diameter of this filament and update my review with my measurement findings. In the meantime this filament will sit in a box unused. This is unfortunate to see so much material going to waste because of improper manufacturing. ... show more

Ive tried this filament it works great with the Bambu P1S AMS, but i bought it for the multi color spool and i never came. I was late on checking this and the return window had closed but disappointed to say the least. check your orders asap. filament works great!

This filament printed really well. The worst part of some rainbows is that the gradient isn't smooth and looks more stripey than transitional. This filament does not have that problems and has a beautiful smooth transition from one color to the next. The colors are rich and saturated, absolutely nothing negative to say about it. This filament is not rapid color change, so if you like printing dragons like I do, this will give you nice slow transitions without repeating colors. You can still achieve at least 2 colors if you print multiples of a few small prints. We recently bought a Bambu Labs printer and the plastic spool works great in the AMS. I had no issues with adhesion when switching colors with other brand filament within the same print. ... show more
