  • The Gatekeeper of the Future!
Color: Silver Style: None APP
Let me introduce you to my home's new sheriff in town, the IRONZON Fingerprint Door Lock. This isn't just any door lock. No, my friends, it's the gatekeeper to the fortress, the guardian of my domestic bliss, and apparently, a fierce critic of my wife’s fingerprint. When the box arrived, boasting a futuristic keypad and a promise of keyless entry that could make a spy jealous, I was all in. The thrill of playing Mission Impossible in my own hallway? Priceless. Installation? A breeze! This lock slid onto my door like Cinderella’s slipper, fitting just right without any fuss about wires or unwanted drill action. The promise of DIY ease was fulfilled, and let me tell you, it was easier than assembling anything from IKEA—I didn’t even need a single Swedish meatball to get through the process. Now, let's talk about the unlocking features. This sleek sentinel offers not one, not two, but three high-tech avenues to enter your abode: a James Bond-esque fingerprint scanner, a Da Vinci Code-style keypad that laughs in the face of peeping Toms, and the good old-fashioned physical key for when you're feeling nostalgic. The fingerprint scanner? It's like the bouncer at an exclusive club. 98% of the time, it flings the door open with a welcoming smile after just a glance at your finger. But for my wife? It seems our high-tech gatekeeper has developed a selective taste. Despite multiple attempts (and even after a manicure), it stubbornly refuses her entry like she’s on the club’s blacklist. It’s not personal, darling, it’s just technology being cheeky! For those worrying about power, fear not. This lock runs on AAA batteries, and with a Type-C port for emergency fuel-ups, it’s more prepared than a Boy Scout. Low on juice? Just plug it in, and voila! It's ready to defend your castle gates once more. So, why five stars, you ask, despite this matrimonial hiccup? Because any device that adds a touch of drama and a sprinkle of humor to our daily lives, while keeping my in-laws out unless escorted, deserves every star in the galaxy. Plus, it’s given me and my wife countless laughs—albeit some at her expense (sorry, honey). In conclusion, the IRONZON Fingerprint Door Lock isn’t just a product; it’s a member of the family. It keeps us safe, entertains us, and even has its quirks—much like your favorite uncle who might not remember your birthday but always throws the best barbecues. It’s a marvel of modern security, combining convenience with a touch of personality. Just maybe register your fingerprints before you get that winter skin dryness, or you might find yourself guest-starring in your own episode of "Locked Out Wives." ... show more

  • Don’t buy
Color: Black Style: None APP
This lock is a nightmare. It worked for a few months but some features never worked. Based on the instruction, could never turn off the auto lock feature. Well last week it just kept beeping. I changed the batteries and still beeping when you touch the keypad, goes through a series of colors and just doesn’t stop beeping. So the other day I completely forgot that it was having issues and shut the door and was actually locked out of my house for 2 1/2 hours and it cost me $175 for a locksmith and it was 20° outside. None of my neighbors were home and of course I immediately tried to find their customer service number which is actually a Google Voice number not a real person. There’s absolutely no troubleshooting online for this issue that I’m having this was literally the biggest waste of money. I wish I could get my money back. It is just a piece of trash. Not to mention the quality when I first installed it I did notice it seemed like it was just a really cheap walk and it was $40 and I felt like that was actually a decent price to pay for a quality lock. it shouldn’t even cost that much but it never really seem like it was attached well to the door like all the other locks I’ve ever had so I know it’s not a hardware issue on my end. Tried emailing customer service multiple times, but I’m sure they’re probably in a completely different country. I really don’t care about the average consumer having issues. Save yourself the time in trouble and do not buy this. It is a complete disaster and for those bragging about it they probably have an experience this level yet. ... show more

  • Lost keys? No problem
Color: Black Style: None APP
So I have a family member who's constantly losing a room key and constantly has to have it locked due to other family members. So I wanted to get them something that would be a great present to fix that. After scouring the internet for something that was cheap and worked I came across this product. I did some research and figured it was good enough and come to find out when receiving is it was more than that. It came with 2 keys and she hid one and I have another but... why ever use them now unless we lose out thumbs XD. It fit right in the old door hole no extra cutting required. Not that it doesn't have its faults, for example sometimes it doesn't register right away so hou get a red ring and a beep before you have to click it again. The wait is nanoseconds to renter but the issue more is I can't find a way to turn the beep off when it fails to read a saved print. Which can be a tad annoying at night to say the least. But it definitely doesn't fail often enough for it to be an entire issue just a slight annoyance and if it does just add the same print again a few times as other "users" and it will stop over all. Another issue which was probably my fault was when I tried to install it the button on the back where you add the batteries and are supposed to be able to hold it down to lock and unlock and reset it on the outside. No matter what I did for a while while just refused to properly seat and connect. it might be the wiring it might have beem me not putting it in properly either way I had to do it a couple of times to make it function properly and consistently but after that no issues there. Regardless this was a great product and I'm planning on getting another one specifically for my room and the pantery soon enough. The programming of it is a little bit spotty at first until you get used to it but after that adding fingerprints and removing them is a snap, it's just a slight learning curve especially with no easy app to tinker with all those setting but when done it works perfectly, one it died while we where out and had to plug it into my phone to give it temporary juice, this was right about when we got the device and figured we'd find places to hide the keys afterwards leaving them in the room unintentionally. Saved me a trip up a two story house through a window. Just plugged it in and added my print. Gave the thing new batteries after that and was done, great feature. Pros -Fairly easy to install -Super sleek asthetics that look great -Fits a normal doorknob hole meaning no extra cutting -Easy to grab while placing hand naturally in a position it will be scanning the print for most hands anyway so no hand twisting. -No annoying proprietary app -Backup keys for failure. 2 included. -Can power it up to open it with fingerprint if lost keys and the device is dead with a battery bank or phone via the charger port on the side. -Internet or power died? Well who cares anymore because this works anyways since it runs on batteries and a chip inside itself. Cons -No easy app to control it with -One size fits all (more or less) though much smaller kids or adults with small size hand disorders may have a hard time unlocking if you want to giving them access -A annoying beep when locking and unlocking. or when it fails to read a fingerprint that cannot be disabled -Possible fidgety lock button on the rooms side when installing and may take retrys. I will note technically this is clearly labeled to be essentially for cheap hotels, but all things considered it is a well-worth purchase for normal house usage if you're in the market for a cheap but effective fingerprints doorknob just to get your fingers in the door (pardon the pun) if you can put up with the very minor grip of no app or wireless function and the beeping. Of which may be disable-able and I have just yet to find out how. ... show more
