It looks good but food doesn’t stay Hot. It remains slightly warm to touch. Holds good amount of food for an adult . The black edges have peeled a little for now but I did use it in dishwasher a couple of times so could be that. So it’s strictly hand wash . Regardless, the the outer paint peels off even if it’s washed with hands. Gets scratched easily . Good buy if you care less. ... show more

So far Thermos has passed the test. It keeps my little one's food warm till about noon. I boil water and pour it in for a good 10-15 minutes (around 7 am) depending on what I am doing. Then put her warmed lunch in. She has stated that by lunch time (11:30 am) her food is warm.

Ok, so I bought this for an alternate reason… SEE PHOTO FOR SIZE SCALE (16oz beer can, 16oz IronFlask) I have an awesome Plano beverage cooler I take everywhere on my surrey bike, and wanted to cool off and stash away some stuff that can’t get wet. I love this solution! I am so incredibly happy with this “food” container!! I got the wood skin, and it is definitely regal looking, durable, and waterproof by this human’s trial use (right, so not a clinical trial with psi rating, etc), but I am so exceptionally in love with this little container’s ability to keep wet/dry out and dry/wet in! -*Trail Rating*: I ride my surrey bike everywhere and this canister has been with me for lots of bumps and jiggles. Imagine sloppy ice in a small cooler sloshing around on a bicycle all day with beers and this canister holding dry goods inside that need to stay dry…yeah. It passes that test in my experience. I love it. I loved it so much that I bought another one a few hours after I received and initially tested the first one. I will be using the second one for food or coffee, as is it’s original purpose. Can you drive a 4-door F-150 truck over it and expect it to hold up for the next cup of coffee? Nope. It’s not going to cure your emotional life’s ills. It’s a waterproof 16-oz insulated jug and it is well worth the cash. GREAT product at an excellent price point. Any bad reviews on this item at $18 don’t know what they are looking for in this price range, or they got a manufacturing defect. Cheers, y’all ... show more
