The wide mouth is terrific. The insulation is mediocre. It is not a thermos. Heat retention is maybe a couple hours and drops off. Obviously the lid is not a cup, which is okay, but would have been a nice feature to include.

I ended up returning this for a basic thermos. Oddly it was kind of difficult to open. Just ergonomics - morning to do with the function. That’s the only reason I Returned it in favor of the little thermos brand one.
