I got this for my daughter to bring to dance class on the nights that she needs to eat dinner there. I can fit a cooked package of Ramen noodles inside with a little tiny bit of the liquid. It does keep them warm for quite some time. We have yet to use it for chilled food. We did have a bit of an issue getting the spoon out, it's a little hard to remove for her so we just pack plastic silverware. My daughter loves this thermos so much! It allows her to take lunch to school and keep it warm. We have tried a few different foods inside so far and she has not been disappointed. We've packed: Chicken nuggets, French fries, noodles, mac N cheese, little smokies all have been warm 4 1/2 hours later!! The thermos is perfect in size and holds about 6-8oz of fluid/food. Food stays nice and warm, especially if you add boiling water to the thermos to heat the interior for about 3-5 minutes, empty, and then add your food. My child has confirmed that this method works.
