I have two extra long twins that needed to be bridged because my dog kept getting her foot caught and would pull her shoulder out of joint. I had been hesitant for years to buy a bridge because one of the mattresses has a pillowtop and the other is extra firm so it is lower than the other. This bridge works perfectly. It stays in place with the foam T bar and it does not show the outline of the bridge when looking at the made bed. Problems solved and I am so happy. A good value too.     • Can easily see lines underneath bedding

Initially, I thought the bamboo would stiffen the bed bridge. I later realized it was only bamboo fiber, not bamboo, so it's surprisingly soft. Probably can't put much weight on it without pushing it in. Despite that, I could see the lines underneath the sheets and thin comforter. My first inclination was to return it. But then I tried it with the baffled mattress pad. Decided I like the total effect with a baffled mattress pad, but without it, it couldn't pass muster for me. Now I'll have to see if my husband can live with that adaptation. If not, it goes back for a return. Post note: Husband fine with 1.5 inch baffled mattress pad on top which hides the lines it creates. Added advantage is the pad holds the two mattresses together while allowing ample flexibility for independent controls. The pad does temper the coolness of the premium mattress, but it's a bit too cool for me anyway. We'll see if that's still true in the summer. ... show more

This was exactly what we were looking for. We had a split king bed but wanted to make it one bed so our yorkiepoo's legs wouldn't go down in the crack and possibly get hurt. Plus, this will make it much easier on me when I change the sheets - one big fitted sheet instead of two. This is NOT what I thought. I wanted something like this but firm to where I couldn’t feel the gap In between the mattresses if I wanted to lay close to my wife. This product is so thin that it’s like laying a piece of paper over the gap. It weighs about as much as a feather. The cheap foam on the bottom that goes in the gap is only about an inch long and looks like it was cut with scissors and isn’t long enough to go down in the gap. This is way too flimsy. It may work to keep small things from falling in the crack, but if you’re looking for something where you won’t feel the gap, this definitely is not what you want. I’m just going to roll up a small throw blanket and put it in the gap like I’ve been doing because that works better than getting this. ... show more

This product seems to be designed so that it will fill that gap between 2 adjustable beds without the problem of an annoying strap that has to be removed when changing linens, yet stays in place when the beds are adjusted independently. I feel it does a pretty good job of keeping things from falling between the crack and will offer more comfort for my husband and me when we cross over or cuddle, etc. There are 2 changes I would like to see in the design, but I didn't see any other options on Amazon that were any better. For our bed, the "V" part is too small to really fill the gap without a little dip between the mattresses. It helped and was definitely better than without a gap filler, but to make it perfect, the V could be a little deeper and wider with a little more density to the foam. I also would have liked to have a protective cover to easily launder. However, I feel this would interfere with the product's ability to stay in place without straps. It does seem to be light weight enough to easily hand launder, which is recommended. All-in-all, I'm still giving it 5 stars, as I feel it is the best product I could find to solve the problem of the gap between our adjustable beds while still allowing for separate bed adjustments. ... show more
