  • Sponsored but independent review
Product is packaged well and comes with everything you need to include tools. Written instructions are so so but not fully user friendly. The instructions do however have a QR code that shares a video description for set up. Balancing is easy and adjustments lock in place with a screw so you should be able to set it once and be good to go. Come extent GoPro mount to put camera on Gimble versus other that have to be locked in place. Very convenient that you can use the GoPro media mod with the Gimble. Gimble can also be used as a power source for the GoPro. Movement is smooth and I did not notice any motor noise in the videos. The only less than desirable thing I notice is the handle portion of the Gimble is very light so it feels a little too heavy. Overall it is a light rig so I do not see any major issues with that. Would love if they had an upgraded version that had an app that would allow for active tracking but overall it is a great bonus to be able to control the Gimble through the app and the ability to control the camera with the Gimble itself. ... show more

  • Good stabilizer, could use better set up instructions
This is a nice little gimbal for an action camera. I used it with a GoPro Hero 10 in this case. The gimbal works well once it is set up. The instructions are a bit lacking, and I can see how it would be a bit frustrating for a new user. I have been using gimbals for years, so I have some experience going into this review. If I was totally new to setting up a gimbal, I would be more frustrated with the lack of good instructions. However, there are plenty of good youtube videos that will guide you on how to balance the camera on this gimbal. Once set up, it works quite well. The GoPro already has good in-body stabilization, so adding a gimbal might seem overkill. But the look of the video using this combo is really awesome. Also, you can step down the GoPro IBIS and get a wider field of view, while relying on the gimbal to keep things smooth. Added bonus! ... show more

  • Nice gimbal!
I bought this primarily to use with the media mod on my GoPro H10B and it works great (especially in low light where in-camera stabilization is not optimal and I have it turned off). My only complaint would be (and I knew this before purchasing, so it's not a deal breaker), is the minimalist mounting approach to the camera - which relies on the 'fingers' that are attached to the body of the GoPro. This leaves the user with no way to easily change out the battery - a magnetic or quick-release plate system would really send this product to the top of the list - which is, unfortunately, a short list because no one else is really making gimbles right now for action cameras. This absence of competition is also a market indicator that the manufacturer will most likely not respond to improvement suggestions or input for modifications. So you'll love it, or not. This gimbal does stabilize the camera very well and even does a good job of controlling the camera via the teeny tiny buttons and Bluetooth (as long as you are using a GoPro - with no support for Insta360 or others). ... show more

  • Garbage, get the Hohem iSteady Pro4 instead
I don't even know where to start here. I guess lets start with the mounting of the GoPro. You are supposed to loosen and tighten 2 screws which slide and supposed to balance the GoPro. At first I was like, ok, that should be too bad. I was wrong. Moving on to the app. There is so much to be desired there. At first everything was working all right. I connected the app to the gimbal, updated the firmware, and that's where things go sideways. So the app crashes a lot, and I mean A LOT. It seems that if you go back from any of the main menu items it crashes or disconnects from the gimbal. If you try and control the gimbal through the app its 50/50 whether or not it will work. Lastly, lets talk about the gimbal itself. So the different modes work intermittently (PF, HL, FPV, FL, etc.). I'm not sure what happened but the gimbal gets to a point where all of the modes do the same thing and none of which are what you intend. I had to power it off several times in order to get it to function correctly in each corresponding mode. In the end, this is getting returned tomorrow. I originally bought this gimbal because I could see the entire display on my GoPro Hero 10 and that it could accommodate the media mod. I watched several reviews on this gimbal prior to buying it. To say that I was let down would be an understatement. Originally I had purchased the Hohem iSteady Pro4 (which is superior in every way in my opinion, app, function, ease of use, price, etc.) but due to the limitations I previously stated, its not really an option. ... show more

  • Built Better than expected.
The media could not be loaded. Why did i wait so long to get this. Built so well. The motor is very quiet and responds quickly. Holds a Gopro 7 Black with no problems. Very nice having the option to mount the product to a tripod. Packaged very well. felt like i was unboxing a ipad. Fits Well in the hand. Not to heavy. Very easy to balance. If the balance is to far out, it lets you know by shaking. which is most likely everyone bad reviews. Battery life is amazing. I have been using it 2 weeks. And still using the charge that it had out of the box. Also has the screw at the bottom to be mounted to a tripod. Would Defiantly buy this product again. ... show more

  • The unit goes crazy from time to time. Just ok.
I really wanted to love this gimbal for my GoPro! Unfortunately, I believe it has caused me to lose just as many shots as it has saved. When it works, it works well – the shots are stable and the unit is quiet. However, certain movements will cause the unit to make a "clunk" which is recorded with the audio – there's a good video on YT that demonstrates this. Also, from time to time, and completely unexpectedly, the unit will just go crazy...doing random movements, aiming random places, just doing its own thing until you turn it off and back on again. It's not super trustworthy. I've only had it a few months and it's already sitting around being an overpriced paperweight. ... show more
