The first time I used it, I thought it worked great. Straightened my hair in half the time and fairly easy to use without getting my hair tangled. The second time I used it, it sounded like a heating element went out and the power of the airflow dropped by half. The cooling element also stopped working. Ugh. I was recommended this item from my hairdresser friend. I went through chemo a couple years ago and my hair grew back really curly, I also ended up with permanent nerve damage on the left side of my body and can not fully use my arm. I’m only mentioning this because I couldn’t use my normal blow dryer/round brush combo and lived in pony tails. With this product I can use one arm and straighten my hair (as well as drying it). This item is pretty lightweight for what it is, and can be used one handed. The cord spins and moves as you use it so there’s no getting it tangled as you work. This Blowout Brush changed the game for me. I have thick, frizzy hair that would take at least 30-40 minutes to blowdry. With this product, I am able to blow dry my hair, frizz free, within 15-20 minutes. One of the most impressive things is how close to the root I can get to make sure I do not have any wavy areas.
