My wife had to sell her kayaks some time time ago, due to a neccessary vehicle change. She got a little down about that for a while, at the time. Since then, she has expressed a great deal of interest in paddle-boarding as an alternative. This makes a lot more sense for us as we can collapse it all right down and it fits in the back of any vehicle. This fantastic little starter package is ideal to "test the water" so to speak and was bought for my wife as a surprise birthday gift, while she is currently away. But a few tips first. And two of these tips are part of the one star down. First. The one large fin that is included needs to be put into the slot on the bottom side. You can see in my pic that the plastic is tilted in at a pretty hard angle making it impossible to have the fin slide right in. In fact, I had to use a slot screwdriver to lightly pry each side up so the fin would fit in. Thus, I would also suggest putting the fin on BEFORE airing up. Next. The air pump. The end that twists into the air port located on top side of the bottom of the board does not stay in that solidly. Normally these twist in and click into place and while pumping should not just pop out. So what I did was to twist the hose in the direction to keep a slight pressure on the hose turning to the right while pumping. Both of these are minor cept for the fin fitting which means you need to have a screw driver to get the fin on. One last thing which was odd is that manual shows it should have come with a phone protection pouch with lanyard. But on the product description and images there is no mention of this. So can only guess they discontinued this practice but had not updated the manual (included in my pics). Now for the good stuff and why I still give this 4 stars. Comes with it's own pump that fits nice in the bag that comes with this and the bag has lots of nice room to fit everything, even the paddle. Btw, it does come with a repair kit, but you're going to need to get your own glue to put into the nice canister that has the repair contents. The paddle is pretty straight forward but be warned you won't be told how to set the length of it in the manual. So here's the rule. Stand bare foot on the ground, put your arm out to your side and turn your arm up, like you're saying "stop right there!". Your arm should be at a 45 degree angle. Then the handle of the paddle should be adjusted to the top of your hand. Hope this tip helps. One other thing, when paddling, you will see the paddle end is curved, make sure you paddle with the cup of the curve facing forward. C <- if you see this 'C', as the curve, it faces toward the front of the paddle board. Next up, the board after fully inflating to 12-15psi - which the pump does have a gauge to help you here, has some nice ring placements to allow you to hook up some sort of strap or even lines to allow you to tie off. There's one on the bottom (near the pump hole) - this is where you put the included lanyard that goes around your ankle, then there's one on the front under the board and two an each side of the board. Also, at the top of the board are bungies used to hold things that you want to drag around with you. Very handy and smart to have. Lastly, there's a nice handle in the middle of the board on top that you can grab to make it easy to carry to the water after inflation. The board's dimensions are 10.5 feet long by30 inches wide and 6 inches thick. Can hold up to 350lbs. This is a 3 bottom fin design. Two of the fins are fixed in place with the board. The 3rd (large) you need to slide into place and lock in with the attached plastic insert. My final two cents. Put the large fin on with a screwdriver's help, then leave it on. There's enough room in the bag to allow for it to stay on. Just roll up the board when done from the top of the board down to where the fin will be the last thing on the outside. Hope this review helps. Again, this is a really nice board, nice looking, has everything to get up and running (floating) pretty quick (5 mins or so) and a nice bag to carry it all. ... show more

This kit came with everything to go straight to the water. The pump takes a bit of work and I'd recommend upgrading to an electric, but it gets the job done eventually. The board feels sturdy and tracks smoothly. A bit tricky to get everything back into the carry bag but it will all fit.

Kit is complete, accessories work fine, board looks sleek but not flashy. It’s tiring manually pumping the entire board with the included pump without taking a break, so it makes you think about the electric pumps as an upgrade. After 5 psi it starts to feel firm, and then the single pump mode helps. There’s a foam grip surface liner on the top, and board becomes very firm once it reaches desired psi. Plenty of rings, handle, and three stabilizing fins. Material feels thick but not cut proof so the board should be treated gently. Holds pressure pretty well, adult sized but there are larger boards out there that are longer and wider. ... show more

This is an absolutely awesome paddle board kit, it's great quality and comes with everything that you need to get started in paddle boarding. I already have a paddle board but got this one for my significant other so that we could get enjoyment out of paddle boarding together.
