With several bikes and limited storage, the Kong Ming Car Bike Stand was the best value for my needs, and it doesn't interfere with disc brakes or the rear derailleur. I did a lot of research before landing on this solution. It works well for Mountain & Road bikes. I roll the rear wheel into the stand and it's quite stable. Not sure how it would do with a heavy E-bike. Assembly is pretty simple, and the tolerance on the fit of the parts is tight. I went through and tightened all the bolts on the stand. It comes with a wrench and allen wrench for assembly. The double conical shaped roller that the back of the bike wheel rests on needed to be tightened up on a couple of the stands, but once everything was snug, they all worked great! What a Great Value! I have to keep my bike in my house and usually just kept it leaned up against the wall and previously had one of those mounts that are supported by the wall with a holder for two bikes. They work well but are not cheap and you really need a lot of wall space to use it. This you just put the tire in the rack and it stands up straight. Of course you can use it outside. If you have kids that might run into your bike I do not think it is that stable that your bike will stay up but I have bumped my bike a few times and it at most just moves it out of alignment. I wish I had discovered this years ago. I bought the one that was already put together but it does not look like it is that complicated if you are the least bit handy. ... show more

I live in an area where I can only ride my road bike for the summer months. Since I have a carbon fiber frame, I can't have a kick stand on it. This is the perfect solution for keeping my bike at the ready during riding season and since this folds, it can easily be stored at the end of the season. Bought this because I needed another bike stand fast and just like ,one I have but less expensive. Well it appears to be a knock off of some of the name brand ones. The from stabilizer bar is narrower then my name brand one and thus less stable. I have a 29" eMTB (41 lbs) and it just cannot hold it up which my other named brand can. You have to turn the from tire to get it to stay upright. Ended up bolting it to a wide piece of plywood which helped but sort of defeats the purpose of port ability. It just is more flimsy then my other stand. I ended up buying another stand of the name brand. This one will most likely work with lighter bikes. ... show more

I purchased the assembled one and it was super easy to use. I love that this is portable and I can take it anywhere because my bike didn’t come with a kickstand. I love that it light weight. I love how I can just scoot my back in backwards or forward. The best hand down. I give it 10 out of 10!!!
