My uncle had both knees replaced last summer and his recovery has been much slower than desired or anticipated. I ordered this device to give him some structure (and support) for doing his “homework” (exercises assigned by his physical therapist). It will take time to tell if it’s making a difference, but he seems to be enjoying it so far and it got a thumbs up from his health care advisor. I think the design is simple but effective - as long as he doesn’t try using it as a skateboard I really think it will help to strengthen his knee and improve range of motion!     • Simple yet effective device
Not only for knee replacement recovery, this can be used for a lot of knee injury recovery. My PT informed me of a few exercises and one included sitting on a desk or table and kicking your leg back and forth. This provides the same functionality but with better control and while comfortably touching the ground. It is easy to use and even my large feet (size 13 US) fit in the available space on the foot rest. If you start going back faster the wheels make some noise, but overall a decent product to aid in recovery. ... show more
