  • Works well right out of the box.

No dislikes. No wasted labels.

  • Love this
Style: Bluetooth+USB Color: Black
I love this thing, I sell a lot of things like kids clothes, my clothes, stuff we no longer want in decent shape still on poshmark, ebay, mercari, facebook, etc. I also sell Mary Kay, Avon, and Pink Zebra and I ship stuff out a lot and I have always used a printout of the label and taped it on the package and went through a lot of tape. With this make things 10 times easier and cheaper. I also found out I can make labels to put on my books for Mary Kay and Avon and that also makes things easier. It prints pretty quick, the print does not seem to dark and wish it was darker but maybe that is the paper, but you can still see it. It seems very easy to use so far. ... show more

Doesn’t print the best, but it’s fast and efficient

  • Mac Users Beware
Style: USB Color: Dark Black
We print a ton of labels, shipping and small-sized. We have run Zebra and Rollos up to this point. Zebra's are absolute beasts that we use to print small barcodes with by the hundreds of thousands a year. While not nearly as well built, nor expensive, we have had equally good luck with Rollo. We had Rollo that died due to us wearing it out after thousands upon thousands of shipping labels going through it for 4-5 years. I saw all the positive reviews this printer got and thought I would give it a go. It is not even close to being up to par with Rollo if quality, speed, and dependability are important to you. Specifically: 1. Print quality is good if it doesn't skip lines. We use high-quality labels and cannot get it to print an entire 4x6 label without a 1/8" to 1/4" area or two printing blank or compressed. This is regardless if we are printing through PirateShip, Zoho, Shopify, UPS, or Etsy at a variety of print settings. 2. We have the latest Mac OS and drivers installed; however, the printer disconnects from our shipping computer multiple times daily. The only solution we have found is to disconnect the printer physically, uninstall it from the computer, reboot the computer, and reinstall it. It slows production down immensely and is so frustrating. 3. It is not super fast. One can speed it up in the printer settings; however, quality drops immediately to a point we would never use in a professional environment. Everyone on our team HATES this printer. It will go to a digital graveyard (recycling center), and a new Rollo is on its way. My overarching conclusion is that this printer is not ready for primetime. Maybe the driver is better for PC and fixes all the issues above, but it is horrible on Mac OS as of January 2023. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations
Style: USB Color: Dark Black
I've been thinking about buying a thermal label printer for years, but never wanted it enough to spend several hundred dollars on one. Then recently, I came across this iDPRT Thermal Label Printer on sale (under $100) and decided to try it out. I'd consider myself to be a bit of a tech snob; I prefer Brother printers, hate all HP products... so my expectations weren't very high considering that I'd never heard of this brand before. But in the heat of Amazon Prime Day I decided to roll the dice. Worst case scenario: I'll return it and go back to the miserable experience that I've become accustomed to, using 9x11 label sheets and coating my fingers in toner as I try to use all of the stickers. While my computer did not automatically recognize the device, the installation experience was very straightforward: *Connect the device to my computer (Win10); *Google "iDPRT driver" (lead me to the product's download page); *Download & install the driver (there was a warning about something potentially unsafe when I ran it, but I proceeded). The next time I went to print something, the iDPRT thermal printer was listed as one of my printer options, and the size of the printable area was already configured and ready to go. So far so good! I haven't made any adjustments to default configuration, still using the included thermal labels, printing labels one at a time from 4x6 formatted PDFs. When I power on the device, the printer adjusts the paper in its feed to make sure it's in proper alignment. Sometimes labels seem to be slightly larger than the printing area (half a line of text at the very top might get cut off, or maybe the sides will be missing a tiny portion of print, depending on the label). While the printer and I are still in our initial bonding phase, looking at our adventures together I'd say that I'm satisfied with this printer, and that it is very much worth its price. No hassles, and ready to go when I am. What more can you ask for? ... show more

  • They were right
Style: USB Color: Dark Black
I have another model of iDPRT printer and its working perfectly, but was unavailable when I wanted to buy another one. Got this one instead and was totally disappointed. I was hoping the bad reviews were wrong, but they were right. The quality of printing was so bad, I just couldn't trust that I was not going to have problems with my shipping labels. It printed like a printer that barely has any ink left, and this is a thermal printer. As for the bluetooth connection, that didn't work for me. When I set it up, I had to use the USB cable. If it had printed clearly where one could read well, I would have kept it even without the bluetooth connection, but it was pretty bad. I would not recommend anyone this printer. ... show more
