I have 2 minor complaints 1 is fixable . Overall it is a awesome deal for the $$$ especially compared to harbor brand and definitely better $ than the Milwaukee brand although I do have all 3 brands Ok the first complaint it heats up quickly on the handle and causes the polisher to shut off but only for a second , also this is the fixable issue I took it apart and cut more holes in the case to let it breath better fixed the issue and while it’s apart go ahead and cut that little tab out at the trigger so there is no need to push the button at same time as trigger to get it started easy to do and makes it much nicer . Second complaint is honestly I wish it had 2 more slower speeds . Some reviews here talk about batteries slow to charge and that they didn’t last long , this not the case with this one both batteries charged completely 30 minutes each and 1 battery polished 4 - 24”x14” forged wheels with no problems ... show more

I'm very impressed! I've personally tried most of leading brands with a cordless polisher and this one performs just as good and maybe better then these other manufacturers with similar options. I've now used this for a full week and have done 14 head light restorations and fixed 2 textured bumpers that had scratches that needs to be sanded, filled, and painted(pictures above). The polisher has a great range for polishing and sanding that all you have to do to change it from P to S is a flick of the switch located on the topside of the tool. It also had a variable finger trigger that allows for wonderful control of how fast or slow the head spins. The only issue I found is that the batteries doesn't last as long as I want to(about 30 minutes of continuous use)which has a nice and easy solution of purchasing a few more batteries. You will not find a better option for price especially with all you get with the kit. ... show more

I bought this item late April 2021. Less than a year ago as of the day I'm writing this, January 3,2022. I've used it about six times and charged the batteries the same number of times. During that time the polisher worked great. It's been about three months since I've used it. I tried using it a few days ago the batteries would no longer take a charge. I contacted the seller and they agreed to replace the batteries. I appreciate them standing behind their product. I would recommended this polisher if you're looking for a good value. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After doing research on multiple 3 inch polishers I found that the price of the store was really affordable and with all the accessories and buffing pads it comes with also made it an extra added value. I have purchased SPA buffing pads in the past and they worked amazing and I will continue to buy their pads. I wanted to try this 3 inch Rotary polisher out because of its price and the quality of the SPTA tools. I have used every brand out there from snap on Milwaukee Dewalt earthquake and a few other brands of rotary polishers and all of them were very expensive and did not last very long. For the price of this tool you could purchase four of these for one snap on polisher and have about the same warranty.The door has plenty of power and it’s very easy to use we also like that it has two speed gearbox to go from slow with more torque or fast with less torque so you can get multiple types of polishing and cutting done. The only drawback to this tool is the spring loaded lock to release the trigger. Every time you want to release and squeeze the trigger again you have to squeeze or press the lock to one side or the other which overtime I feel could get a little annoying.However I would definitely buy this tool in multiple more of this in the future because the tool is not cheaply made and has plenty of power I would say for the value this is the best polisher I’ve used on the market. ... show more

    • This is NOT a Polisher, manual clearly says Drywall Sander
I thought with so many good reviews that they outweighed the bad ones people posted. This is clearly not the case. When I got the tool, the manual says drywall sander. I intended to use this to polish out water spots on my car. I had a myriad of problems that I lter learned mirrored other reviewer's struggles. 1) Trigger safety lock button is a hassle to push in with the side of your thumb each time you want to start it. This ended up not mattering when after 15 minutes it simple disengaged and stayed that way. So, trigger safety somehow was disabled and stopped working. 2) Variable speed also stopped working 5 minutes in. At first you could depress the trigger slowly and it would sort of ramp up giving you variable speeds. After a little bit on the first use it would either be at a stop, or full RPM. No middle ground. Mind you this is mid using it first time. Nothing was changed but clicking the trigger safely and trigger. 3) Thumb and upper grip area gets so hot you can't hold it and stays that way for a while. This tool heated up so much I had to readjust my hand and hold it awkwardly just to use it. Very, very hot. 4) Batteries die in 15 minutes. I fully charged both batteries. Both died before finishing 1/4 of my car. Luckily my friend also had his polisher which was the same size and same battery just a much better brand. His lasted about 3 times as long with the battery and didn't have either the heat, trigger, or speed problem. Don't buy this "drywall sander". It isn't and won't work well to polish your car. You have more chance of damaging it with the max speed defect that you might get. This thing is a paperweight and I will be returning mine for a refund. ... show more

If anyone was wondering. Battery life is abysmal on this little polisher. Works well other than that. Recently discovered that hyper tough 12v battery system from Walmart fits. Now the polisher works like it should with a much longer battery life and a battery system that shouldn't disappear overnight. ... show more
